Wat Yai Chaya Mongkol
Wat Yai Chai Mong Khon is very famous throughout the world as it’s recognized as the World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1991 and it’s very important because it’s the location of 1 of the 8 great stupas of the country which is the highest stupa in Ayutthaya Island with the height of 62.10 meters.
Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan
Wat Phanan Choeng was built in 1324, 26 years before the founding of Ayutthaya capital in 1350. The large image hall houses the seated Buddha image of 19 meters in height and 20 meters in width at the lap span. The buddha was built from bricks and plaster covered with black lacquer and gold. The Buddha is regarded as a guardian for mariners and was restored many times until the fall of Ayuttha kingdom. The temple and the Buddha were destroyed by fire.

5.00Absolutely great addition to our trip, now I can actually show some pictures and speak a little about Thai history vs. only Bangkok night life. The tour guide Poppy was an absolute sweetheart, explained everything in detail, amazing English skills. Ayutthaya was such a wonderful place, maybe not so flashy as some of the temples in Bangkok, but way more historical importance clearly defined as it's listed as a UNESCO heritage site. So, both thumbs up for this experience.

5.00Exploring the ruins of Ayutthaya with Jenny was such a wonderful experience! She shared so many fascinating stories that made the ancient city even more meaningful. The temples were stunning peaceful, full of history, and beautifully detailed. Walking among those old stone walls and Buddha statues felt like stepping back in time. The boat ride added an extra charm, giving us a different view of the temples from the river. Jenny’s friendly and knowledgeable guidance made everything smooth, relaxed, and truly memorable.

5.00Super cozy trip, got to experience some awesome ponds and waterfalls. There are different levels for the ponds, and I think our guide Da knew where to take us, we had a great Thai lunch and we had a boat ride, visited a WWII memorial and the Bridge over Kwai that inspired the movie. I had a great day.

5.00This was my third tour with this company, their guides are really what put them apart from the rest. I really wanted to see Ayutthaya and I got me monies worth, it holds such great significance in Thai history, and our Poppy knew everything there was about it, so it was really about the history, not only just taking pictures. We went two couples (friends) on this private tour, and I am happy we chose that over a larger group. Tired of high-rises and malls, try some history!

5.00Loved the Ayutthaya trip with Poppy! She’s easy to talk to, knows her stuff, and made the day go by so smoothly. The boat ride at the end was really peaceful a great way to wrap up the day. Would totally recommend this tour.
