During the tour we will visit:
- Chichen Itza - UNESCO-listed archaeological site and 1 of 7 Wonders of the World.
- Cenote Oxman - a beautiful, underground cenote, which is located in a beautiful town hacienda from 1746
- Valladolid - after swimming in the cenote, we will have a lunch. We stop in a colonial town Valladolid to try local cuisine
We also offer private transportation with the driver, who picks you up from the hotel guided by the an authorized tour guide, and comfortable vehicle up to 12 passengers
With us you can get to Chichen Itza right after its open, what allows us to enjoy exploring the ruins before anyone else and take great photos! Also that's the fastest way of getting there!

5.00We had an incredible experience at Chichén Itzá thanks to our guide, Jessica. She was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Mayan culture and the archaeological site. Her explanations brought the history to life and helped us appreciate details we would have easily missed on our own. Jessica’s energy and enthusiasm made the entire tour memorable. Highly recommend—five stars!

5.00This was our first time in Mexico. Visiting Chichén Itzá for the first time felt surreal—the history, the scale, and the detail of the ruins were incredible. Our guide was Jessica Silver. She made the stories of the Maya come alive, and we learned so much without ever feeling rushed. She also takes great photos! Definitely appreciated that we arrived early as we were there before the crowds and it was gorgeous. We also still had a bit of shade to hide in. After the ruins, we visited a cenote and wow. The water was refreshing, and it was the perfect way to cool off after exploring in the sun. Finally we ate in a nearby city and it was delicious. The whole day was smooth, safe, and unforgettable. Communication was super easy and getting driven everywhere was super convenient. Highly recommend!

5.00Communication was excellent and everything very well worked through in terms of practicalities and organisation, as you'd expect. Now for the massive bonus.....thanks in particular to Danny - our guide with over 20 years experience and a hieroglyphics translator - and also Dennis our driver, this trip was well beyond our expectations!!! We had expected our guide to be well trained in the facts around Chichen Itza, Mayan culture and history and the Yucatan area in general, but Danny clearly had a fantastic amount of knowledge beyond what we expected and a passion for what he did, as well as a great sense of humour and friendly personality!! We simply couldn’t have been happier with him. Chichen Itza itself was fascinating, the Cenote beautiful and Danny’s choice for lunch equally so….especially the guacamole! 🥑 (oh, and the Mezcal!) So thanks again to Tours with Mike and thanks to Danny in particular for a special day.

5.00Manny is amazing! We will ask for him if visiting the area again. He is knowledge, entertaining and funny. He was flexible when we requested to remove the cenote visit and spend more time at the site. He was professional and personable. He kept the perfect pace at the site. He also took some great photos of us and made sure we received them via airdrop at our drop off. It was worth every penny! Thanks Manny!

5.00We were picked up on time and had a great day with our driver , guide, Manuel. He so much local knowledge and was keen to share his experience, music in the car was good. It was obvious Manuel loves the job, and very proud of his country. We arrived at Chichen Itza fairy early which was brilliant we could walk around fairy easy, the crowds were getting large when we left. The Cenote is an experience you need to do even if nervous in water , can't put into words again we arrived just as a large group were leaving. We had dinner in a small pretty restaurant staff were fantastic so was the food. It is a long day, but again Manuel made it enjoyable. If your budget runs to a private excursion Do it.

5.00My husband and I had an amazing day at Chichen Itza! Our guide, Manny, was entertaining and a great conversationalist. He shared so much interesting history, even about even about the sights along the drive. The cenote swim was a lot of fun, and lunch in Valladolid was delicious. It was a very well-organized tour, we beat the crowds and the heat. Overall wonderful service! I highly recommend Tours with Mike. If you can, ask for Manny!

5.00Yesterday we met our guide for the day Jessica Plats for our private tour. Jess was amazing, very knowledgeable able to answer any questions, a great driver and perfect host for the day. We literally never stopped talking from pick up to drop off. We would highly recommend this tour and guide for a truly superb day!

5.00Ivan and Dennis picked us up promptly from our resort. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. They were friendly and immediately put us at ease. Ivan was very knowledgeable about the local area and the Mayan history of Chichén Itza. Dennis found a wonderful roadside restaurant for lunch that was delicious and reasonably priced. Ivan made sure to take plenty of photos so we will have beautiful reminders of our visit. We will book another tour with Tours with Mike the next time we’re in the Playa del Carmen area.
