During the tour we will visit:
- Chichen Itza - UNESCO-listed archaeological site and 1 of 7 Wonders of the World.
- Cenote Oxman - a beautiful, underground cenote, which is located in a beautiful town hacienda from 1746
- Valladolid - after swimming in the cenote, we will have a lunch. We stop in a colonial town Valladolid to try local cuisine
We also offer private transportation with the driver, who picks you up from the hotel guided by the an authorized tour guide, and comfortable vehicle up to 12 passengers
With us you can get to Chichen Itza right after its open, what allows us to enjoy exploring the ruins before anyone else and take great photos! Also that's the fastest way of getting there!

5.00From the moment I reach out to inquire about tours and availability we were immediately met with a friendly response and all the information we needed to make our choice. We ultimately did the private Chichén Itzá tour. Daniel was right on time to pick us up and my husband and I knew we liked Daniel right away. The trip was long from our resort which we knew going in but we had great tunes and easy conversation. Chichén Itzá is just so darn impressive. You see it and think about how the built it! But then Daniel starts sharing his immense knowledge and you become blown away by every fact and math equation he shares with you. I know we could have done a group tour or made it there on our own, however the true appreciation we have of the structures, the people and history is immeasurable because true appreciation is gained by understanding and that is the gift Daniel gave us! After the history, we had so much fun in the Cenote and had probably the best tacos of our life!! We would recommend Tours with Mike a million times over! Daniel, thank you so much for spending the day with us!

5.00We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Daniel. We would not have wanted to navigate getting there and back on our own. We were picked up from our hotel lobby. We felt safe and cared for throughout the day. Our guide was a wealth of information! I'm pretty sure he could teach a college level history course! We appreciated leaving early to avoid big crowds. Chichen Itza was very educational, the restaurant in Valladolid (Paladar de Cura?) was phenomenal! The cenote was gorgeous and not very busy. It wasn't cheap but was an amazing experience!

5.00We truly had the most amazing time touring Chichen Itza and Oxman Cenote with our private guide Ivan, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Ivan made everything effortless. Choosing the private tour was the best decision we made — it completely took the stress out of organising the day or queuing for tickets etc allowing us to simply relax and enjoy every moment. Ivan's knowledge throughout the tour was incredible. At Chichen Itza, he brought the history to life with such detail and insights that we would never have discovered on our own. You could really feel his passion. Visiting Cenote Oxman was equally unforgettable — such a beautiful and refreshing experience, and perfectly timed as this was needed after a hot walk around Chichen Itza. We also mentioned that we would love to try authentic local Mexican food, and Ivan happily took us to a truly amazing local spot where he also joined us for lunch which was lovely. This was instead of visiting Valladolid for lunch and was our choice. It ended up being some of the best food we had during our entire trip — exactly the kind of authentic experience we were hoping for. What made the day even more special was how Ivan treated us. He genuinely made us feel like family, making sure we were comfortable, informed, and enjoying every part of the experience. We would highly recommend Tours with Mike and especially the private tour option. It was seamless, personal, and absolutely worth it. Thank you, Ivan and Tours with Mike for giving us such an unforgettable day!

5.00Tours with Mike and our guide Ivan was a great choice. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. Ivan picked us up front our hotel exactly when he said he would. The car was nice and clean with air conditioning. Much nicer than the standard tour vans. Ivan was an excellent host/guide with lots of knowledge of the area. He kept me and my fiancé entertained for the entire trip! Chichen itza speakers for itself a must vist if you in the area. The cenote swim was equally as breathtaking and a very relaxing way to cool off. The lunch stop was the best meal I had the entire trip! I wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with tours with Mike, in fact I wish I had booked all my others with him and Ivan!

5.00We toured with Manny and it was amazing! He got great photos, has a fantastic personality, perfect English, we requested him again for our other tour this trip! The views were beautiful, and history is always cool to see. I recommend Tours with Mike and Manny to anyone visiting!

5.00Manny was our tour guide for the trip to Chichen Itza, Oxman cenote and Valladolid and it was excellent! The trip was well organized and very informative. We arrived at Chichen Itza before 8am to avoid the crowds and enjoyed the views. The cenote was the highlight which was very refreshing to jump into the water or swing on a rope and land in the water. The last stop was lunch in Vallodolid where we tasted Yucatán cuisine which was delicious. Great tour with Manny!
Happy to be going on another excursion with them soon!

5.00We had such a fun day with Manny today and would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Manny made it fun and informative and kept things safe and smoothe. The ruins were fantastic, lunch was delicious and the cenote was a new core memory for us! We would not hesitate to book another adventure with them!!

5.00What a great trip! Both my husband and I alongside our 10 year old son were fully engaged throughout the day. From the awe inspiring Chichen Itze to the natural beauty of the Cenote and ending with a delicious lunch in Valladolid this has been one of our best days in Mexico. Jessica and Dennis were both fantastic making us all feel at ease from the moment we were picked up. Jessica is very passionate and knowledgeable about the Maya civilisation and Mexican culture in general. The tour ensures you arrive early to Chichen Itze which means you can see all the elements without huge crowds disrupting the serenity of this sacred place. Transport is comfortable and Dennis got us everywhere quickly and most importantly before the crowds. One of the biggest benefits is rather than getting back to our resort at 7/8pm - which is what happens I understand on the big bus tours - we were back by 4ish which meant plenty of time in the late afternoon sun next to the pool! This tour was worth every penny and we highly recommend it for couples or family’s alike.
