My Tho

A one-day Mekong Delta tour for private group with requested language. Depart at 8AM from the starting point (Kim Travel office) and head to the Mekong Delta by car or minivan or bus. It takes you around 2 hours to My Tho. You'll arrive in My Tho at approximately 10:00 AM and then ride on a local motorboat through Dragon Island, Phoenix Island, and Turtle Island. Then stop at the famous Unicorn Island to visit a natural beekeeping farm, and taste honey wine, rice wine, and banana wine. Then take a walk through the village and row along the coconut canal to learn more about the traditional rural lifestyle of the Mekong Delta inhabitants. Continue your motor boat trip to Ben Tre province to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop. Then transfer to a small motor boat and travel along the lush, green canals, stopping at local Vietnamese restaurant for some traditional food. Later on, enjoy various types of tropical fruits at the orchard garden and listen to traditional music. At the end of the tour, a local boat will take you back to My Tho. From there a bus will drive you back to Ho Chi Minh city, arriving at around 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM.

Our family of five booked a private tour with Tuấn as our Guide and Sơn as our driver. It was an excellent experience from end to end. We spend the first day in My Tho and were so happy with how seemless the transportation was. We moved from point to point so effortlessly, and enjoyed each of the stops. The main goal of the trip was to get an early start to see the floating market in Can Tho, so we wrapped up early and were out before dawn. We stayed at Senior Hotel, which was located within walking distance to everything. The hotel was clean and the staff was very pleasant and friendly. Tuấn took care of all the arrangements and guided us through Can Tho with such ease. He listened to our requests and gave us the experience that we were looking for. The vehicle was comfortable, and Sơn was a cautious and efficient. Will definitely reach back out to Kim travel in the future.

Lee & Bob were a professional team of tour guide and driver. This is an all day experience with boat rides and a lunch. It is as advertised and you will learn a lot about Vietnam culture, Buddhism and the Mekong Delta. Lee is expressive and friendly. His English is very good and there were no misunderstandings. Bob is still learning the tour guide business but he is eager to communicate and very helpful. Altogether this was a great tour and a great way to see the back country of Vietnam. Well worth the money. Thank you, Lee & Bob.

Lee & Bob picked us up from our hotel and 2 hours later we were on a boat headed to the Delta. The trip was interesting and fun.

We had a fantastic experience with our guide, Lee, and our driver, who is also learning English and hopes to be a guide one day. Both were absolutely lovely – so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Lee taught us so much about the Vietnam War from the Vietnamese perspective, which was incredibly insightful and gave us a much deeper understanding of the country’s history. Our driver, despite still learning English, communicated with such warmth and enthusiasm – it was clear how passionate he is about becoming a guide, and we’re sure he’ll be an excellent one! They showed us around the Mekong River area, took us to a beautiful pagoda, some fascinating ancient houses, and the Cu Chi tunnels – all at a comfortable pace, with plenty of time to take everything in and ask questions - and we had lots! We felt really well looked after the whole time. Thank you both for an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend Lee and our driver if you want the best experience!

Luna was a great guide. The trip in the small boat was a highlight! The food was also really good and especially positive I would like to mention the possibility of the vegetarian menu.
