Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)
The Summer Palace is the best -preserved Imperial garden in the world and one of the largest of its kind still in existence in china today. The summer palace is formed mainly with Longevity Hill and Kunming lake. It’s a popular summer holiday destination for Imperial families, and between April to October, there are Dragon Boat rides available too( additional costs apply). when you arrive at the summer palace, the driver will buy the entrance ticket for you( admission ticket is included), he will tell you how to go, how to back and where he will waiting for you, after you visit the summer palace the driver will drop you off at your hotel in Beijing or Beijing Capital AirPort.
Mike's Guide & Driver Service
The driver will pick you up at your hotel or Beijing Capital AirPort. This trip begins with pick up from your central Beijing hotel or airport at a time of your choosing. Traveling by comfortable private vehicle, set out on the around 1.5hours drive. Upon arrival, your driver will assist with tickets and then leave you to explore independently( admission of Great Wall ticket is included). Optional extras include a ride to the top of the wall by chairlift up & toboggan down or cable car up and down. Depending on your arrival time, you typically have around 2 -3 hours at the Great Wall to hike and take nice photos.

5.00The tourist services that Irene took us to several tourist attractions in Beijing and surrounding areas like the great wall Mutianyu, Summer Palace and Tianamen is very amazing and excellent. Irene very fluent in English so that it makes it easy for us to communicate especially if there is something we have to see outside the agenda. She was very patient and directed us to do something beneficial both in terms of time and cost. Thank you Irene for the satisfying service.

5.00Mike and his wife are such lovely people. Very friendly, professional and on time guides! I was by myself for 5 days alone no Chinese language at all, I was very worried about spending 1 week alone in Beijing but with Mike and his wife was just so easy and pleasant that I really didn’t need to be worried about anything. Every single detail and solutions they’ve had! Very well recommended!!!! For sure when I get back to China I’ll come to Beijing to explore more and more about the town with you guys!!!! ♥️♥️✌🏻

5.00I fully recommend this option, because it is a great way to see the Great Wall in a comfortable, stress-free way. They take care of tickets, you are transported in a nice confortable car during the day and Irene the guide knows a lot of history and interesting details, but the best is the balance he has between giving information and letting you “rest” and absorb everything. On Irene’s advice, we left early and arrived early before the big crowds showed up, and it paid off in a big way! She was reachable and answered our text right away. She also provide us with information not only on the people of China and its culture but also the history of the Great Wall and Summer Palace. Overall, we wanted to thank Irene for being wonderful and very friendly during our tour. She also organized for us tickets for Forbidden city, recommended restaurants... I would highly recommend this tour, but especially having Irene as part of the tour!

5.00Our family of 9 including 3 small kids booked a 2 day-tour of Beijing with Mike and had Angel as the guide. We covered almost all the sites in Beijing. Mike was very friendly and a very careful driver. The vehicle was always clean. Angel was very knowledgeable and give a very clear commentary of all the places that we visited. We also visited the Hu-tong, a very good experience to see the old Beijing, although it wasn’t in our itinerary. Highly recommend Mike to all visitors to Beijing!

5.00Mike provided travel services for our family trip to Beijing.. He provided us a very good car . He was present on time and provided excellent service. He could communicate in English as well.
