Mutianyu Great Wall
Hotel pick-up at your downtown hotel lobby. We will then drive directly to the Mutianyu Great Wall, famous for its stunning natural scenery—lush forests and vibrant landscapes that transform beautifully with each season. Located in Huairou District, northeast of Beijing, this section is approximately 75 kilometers from the city center. As one of the best‑preserved and most picturesque sections of the Great Wall, Mutianyu historically served as a vital northern defensive barrier protecting the capital. You may take the cable car up to the wall. You can choose to hike along the wall to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views, or take the cable car down or Chairlift up and toboggan ride for a fun and memorable descent. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

5.00Our tour guide Maggie was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. Explained all the history and details. It was interesting to hear all the stories. Maggie made the trip easy and stress-free. Had an excellent time scaling the Great Wall and going down on the slide. Would highly recommend Maggie as a tour guide for an improved and relaxed experience.

5.00So pleased that we booked this private tour and greeted by Mr Sun & Linda who were both patience and extremity professional. Linda was patient throughout our tour and allowed us to take our time to take pictures and explore. Linda also provided very knowledgeable information on the history of Great Wall of China 🇨🇳 Would defo recommend going first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds. Thank you Linda & Mr Sun 😊

5.00We had a great experience with Linda and Mr Sun. We learnt so much about the history of the Great Wall and were lucky to get some good weather for some excellent views. Linda was very knowledgeable and allowed us to take the tour at our own pace as we were with a small toddler. Thank you.
