Nubian Village

First our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan to enjoy sailing on the Nile River for one hour with felucca (Nubian Sail Boat) then change to a motorboat which will take you to the Nubian Village beach to enjoy swimming in the Nile (optional) then to the Nubian village itself which is located on West Bank of the Nile River just opposite to Soheil Island and near the Aswan Dam,. There you meet and interact with a Nubian family and learn about their simple lifestyle, culture, language, traditions and their unique style of buildings with colorful decorations. Afterwards you'll be transferred back to your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan.

The tour included two boat rides—a peaceful and relaxing felucca ride, followed by a motorboat ride outside the city and deeper into the biodiversity of the River Nile. Along the way, Omar shared his knowledge and pointed out different bird species. At the Nubian village, we arrived from a different side than the other boats, which allowed us to skip the crowds. I really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend booking it with Omar.

This was a perfect solo private tour of the Nubian Village with a scenic felucca ride on the Nile—one of the absolute highlights of my Aswan trip. Being just me in the group made it completely personalized, relaxed, and unhurried. Our guide, Omar—a Nubian himself—was outstanding: incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and full of authentic stories about Nubian culture and history. The felucca sail was peaceful and beautiful, with stunning Nile views. In the vibrant Nubian Village, the colorful houses and welcoming local hospitality were wonderful. The big highlight: safely handling a baby Nile crocodile—such a thrilling and unforgettable moment! Everything ran seamlessly from pickup to drop-off. Omar our tour guide was fantastic and shared his vast knowledge and insight into Nubian history and culture. As we walked through the village, we were invited to have tea in one of the local houses, which was a lovely touch. The tour also included a Felucca ride which was terrific and we even managed to find time for a paddle in the river Nile. All in all, an amazing and highly enjoyable 3 1/2 hours.

The Felucca ride and visit to the Nubian Village was an incredible experience! The tour began sailing peacefully along the Nile on a traditional felucca, enjoying the calm atmosphere and beautiful scenery. Afterwards, we continued by boat to the Nubian Village. Throughout the journey, our guide Mido shared the history of the place with great detail and enthusiasm. When we arrived at the village, we were warmly welcomed by the locals with a traditional welcome drink. We walked through the colorful streets, and it turned into a truly wonderful morning.

Our guide Omar was friendly and told us a lot of things on tour, with jokes. He also answered my question. Thanks to him, I got to know Nubian culture. I think it's a very worthwhile tour. Omar also has a great sense of photography and took some great pictures! The Nile at sunset was very beautiful✨ I am very happy to have taken a nice honeymoon photo♥ Thank you very much!

I had an amazing experience riding and swimming in the Nile, visiting the Nubian village, learning about the medicinal herbs and spices, petting a crocodile, and having a friendly chat with Omar! This experience exceeded my expectations and Omar was a great host! His knowledge and connection to the Nubian culture was very authentic. He went above and beyond with providing excellent hospitality. He felt more like a friend than a guide. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who would like to learn more about the Nubian culture from a trusted guide.

We had an amazing experience thanks to Omar, who was truly one of the best guides we encountered in Egypt. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also kind and attentive. The tour gave us a genuine glimpse into the authentic life of the Nubian village, and we loved visiting a beautiful, untouched part of the Nile where you can even take a swim. We ended the afternoon with a peaceful felucca ride at sunset, absolutely magical and not to be missed. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing afternoon in Aswan thanks to this trip 😊 The felucca ride was great, as it was the visit to the Nubian village. Omar was very prepared and answered all my questions. Also the trip was perfectly planned, so I even managed to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the Nile from the boat!

Omar was an absolutely amazing guide and made our time in Aswan truly unforgettable. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty and history of the place. Thanks to him, we saw Aswan in the most authentic and insightful way. Every stop was meaningful, and his explanations brought everything to life.
