The old inner city of Amsterdam is incredibly picturesque! Here you can see the narrowest houses, crooked alleyways, hidden yards and gardens for butterflies!

During this tour, we would like to tell you about Dutch history, traditions, national character and, most importantly, figure out how this place was built below sea level, became one of the freest and most progressive countries in the world!

We will meet you at the Amsterdam Centraal, where we will share some wonderful facts about its history, and talk about relationships between Catholics and protestants after the 80 Years' War. Slowly strolling along cozy canals and enjoying the view of old brick buildings and majestic churches, we will find out more about this multifaceted city. We will talk about old and modern lifestyle of Amsterdammers.

large organisation of public transport both on land and underground. The center is like any major capital: lots of movement, many tourist shops high prices... great offer for eating. Well-kept museums and well organized. In certain areas of the city the cleaning is not very accurate, but on the other hand there are really many and especially many rude tourists and little attention to cleanliness. A cosmopolitan city verca. Conspicuous public transport also for excursions outside the city in tourist areas. The nice thing is that you use almost everywhere only credit card. Little use of cash. Some of our shopkeepers should learn. You don't go to Amsterdam to enjoy food because it's not like you eat great. If you have good legs and comfortable sneakers it is best to visit the city on foot. Bike is also preferable. Everywhere there are rentals. It is worth doing an excursion (in max half an hour from Amsterdam Central statio you get there) to Zandaam Zaanschans Volendam the Keukenhof garden (only in the period 11 March - 11 May approx.)

I wanted to show my family my beloved Amsterdam in such a way that they would fall in love with it too. We really enjoyed the tour and our guide Maria. We discussed history, architecture, and life in the Netherlands in general. It was a wonderful experience that made our vacation truly memorable.

Anna was so wonderful, and even though we encountered rain (and even hail) she never faltered! She was so informative, and gave us so much background on all of the places we visited. We enjoyed it so much and would HIGHLY recommend this tour! Thank You, Anna for making the day special for us in spite of the weather!

Sasha took us to a small cafe with glass walls, showing a beautiful view of the city. He imparted a great deal of info about the city’s history

Our guide Sasha did a fantastic job to bring us around Amsterdam. We saw some of the unique building structures along the canels. We also managed to try some street foods - delicious!

The tour was excellent! The guide Sasha was truly awesome and humorous. And if you want to know how people lived, felt and made decisions hundreds years ago, I'd highly recommend this walk through the old city of Amsterdam

It was a wonderful walk despite it was not my first visit to Amsterdam. I have discvered so many new places I would probably never see on my own: Sint-Jozefkerk (De Papegaai), béguinage Amsterdam, KONINKLIJK THEATER TUSCHINSKI. Sasha is passionate about tours and you will be captured by storytelling, plenty of interesting details and views. I highly recommend the tours.

I enjoyed walking with Oleksandr through the familiar streets of Amsterdam and listening to interesting new stories. Very informative, with a portion of humor presentation made our trip easy, interesting despite on rain .
