  Great tour! Igor pick us up right on time at our hotel! He was very detailed explaining the places. We all had a good time!

• No guide made it very difficult for the 8 of us.

  We booked and were promised a travel guide and driver. We only received a driver no guide and were left to our own devices as to what we were looking at and were to go. I sent an email to Viator explaining this, but to date have heard nothing. Our group booked several excursions with Viator, this was very disappointing.

  Was a really great trip with Marco, who had encyclopedic knowledge of Slovenian history! The capitol city was beautiful and so was Lake Bled!

  What an amazing day we had. Travelled as a group of 10 in a mini bus from Trieste to Lake Bled and Ljubljana. Our guide Karen was very friendly, humorous and knowledgeable. We visited the castle overlooking the lake. What a view and the castle had artefacts from its history. We had a coffee and the famous cream cake whilst watching the lake. Ljubljana is a beautiful town where Karmen’s background in architecture came in very handy. Karmen was a great guide, making our day extra special

  Wonderful multilingual driver whose knowledge of backroads allowed us to avoid traffic snarls both directions. Tailored the trip to our group’s individual needs including one person with mobility issues. Provided commentary and insights on history, culture and landmarks. Recommended restaurants and things to see allowing us to fully enjoy our visit to Slovenia.

  My wife and I had a wonderful private tour in Slovenia with Igor, a truly excellent tour guide. Igor is a warm and engaging person with great knowledge of Slovenian history, politics, and culture. We really appreciated him sharing his knowledge, tailoring the tour to our interests, and providing us time alone for shopping and a delicious lunch in a restaurant he recommended. I was most thankful for Igor quickly changing our itinerary when I wasn't well enough to drive into the mountains to see Lake Bled. Instead, he drove us to the Lipica stud farm to learn how the famous Lipizzaner horses are trained and watch them perform. Driving through beautiful Slovenia as Igor explained its history, strolling through lovely Ljubljana (known as "little Prague"), and seeing the amazing Lipizzaner stallions up close was a truly memorable day. I am hugely thankful to Igor for making it all happen for us. He has my highest recommendation as a tour guide in Slovenia.

  we wanted to see Lake Bled as well as ljubljana so we modified the tour from Trieste-Ljbuljana to get us to Lake Bled first. We wanted to take the boat ride over to the island. So Viator worked with Istralink tours to modify it. and reserve the boat for us. Our driver Igor was wonderful. He met us on time at the hotel and we started our adventure. He told us all about the towns we were going through and mentioned the Lippanzzer horse farm so we stopped in there and saw lots of them. We wanted hi to join u for lunch but he waited instead the time for us to see Lake bled and have lunch on our own there at the excellent restaurant he suggested. Saw Ljubljana city and back to Trieste . Fantastic trip- even recommended their tour group to our hotel reception and passing it on to the Overseas adventure tour group that we were with

  We were picked up by Goran at our hotel in Trieste and driven across the border into Slovenia. It was a magical day, there were 6 of us and Goran was absolutely amazing, a wealth of knowledge and told us the history of the area, took us to the Castle at Lake Bled and then to Lake Bled itself, it was truly beautiful...we then went on to Lubijana and what a magnificent city, there is the Castle and the town is gorgeous, we were taken around the town on foot and had a traditional lunch at a great restaurant, will be going back to this beautiful city. Definitely recommend this day trip to all, it was just brilliant. Thank you Goran for making the day so special for us.
