WE a reserved a car to transport us from the Zihuateno airport to Ixtapa. the car was there when we arrived and the luggage was loaded into car and then the car delivered us to our hotel. Prompt and courteous service. it did take a minuet to locate driver, I would have appreciated a sign.

We were taken to the wrong address and the driver had no idea how to find the home we were staying in. We toured the city and it took over an hour to finally get to our rental.

Learn from our mistake, just hail a cab. We weren’t sure about the availability, safety, or professionalism of the taxi services for our transportation from ZIH to our resort, so we booked this private car ahead of time. Ended up being a stupid decision. We waited half an hour after our flight landed, but our driver never showed up. We contacted the number in our booking email and they confirmed they had our booking, and gave us the number of our driver. We called him and he knew nothing about our booking and said he needed to call his office to verify. While we waited for that, a gentleman from the taxi service came up to us and already knew my name, and asked me to provide the booking information. He took some pictures and made a phone call, after which we were told that one of the cab drivers would just take us instead. Antonio was our driver, he was great. He told us the drivers make no money off pre-booked private hires and suggested that next time we get a taxi outside the airport, or just call him directly. So we will, and that’s what you should do too. TL,DR: this service is useless, take a cab and thank me later.
