We will provide you with personalized and professional services by a well-trained, enthusiastic and friendly chauffeur/guide who genuinely wishes to make your holiday experience or business trip as enjoyable as possible.
IMPORTANT***
Our priority is always to provide a safe, trained, certified and whenever possible bilingual driver. Fortunately & unfortunately we are almost fully booked during your travel dates, therefore we are out of availability for bilingual drivers. However, even the non-bilingual drivers will understand basic English commands such as bathroom or grocery stops, they can also always use the translator through our van WIFI or call our office for extra assistance. Please note that this does not put down 100% the possibility of your driver for the day being bilingual as we could encounter cancellations or calendar modifications that will free our current schedule.

Arrival instructions: Please after collecting your luggage and *before exiting the the terminal* please contact us. The airport provides free Wi-Fi for your convenience. This will ensure a smooth meet-up with your driver on the designated area. Once outside, look for your driver, who will be waiting with a customized sign with your name. In the unlikely event that you don’t see your name, please contact us again and remain in the same location while waiting for your driver. ⚠️ Early arrivals: We work based on the original flight landing time you booked with us. If you are landing earlier, please send us an advice notice & wait for your driver at the coffee shop outside the airport terminal. ⚠️ Delayed arrivals: If your flight is delayed by more than 2 hours, we will do our best to accommodate your new arrival time, subject to availability. ⚠️ Services with after-hours pick-up and/or drop-off (11:00 PM – 5:00 AM) are subject to special operating conditions based on distance and travel time. ⚠️ TYPE OF VEHICLE: The type of vehicle will be determined based on the number of passengers and road conditions. 5.00A friendly knowledgeable driver with a big smile and cold drinks. Brought me to a great grocery store to get supplies. Clean spacious van. This is my 3rd time using Playa Grande shuttles and I will continue to use them 👌

5.00We used Playa Grande Shuttle and Tours for multiple transportation and excursions. We had a group of 36 that needed to get to a beach side restaurant for a wedding reception in Tamarindo from our VRBO in Playa Grande. This included a private boat driver to get us across the estuary after hours. Salem’s staff were always on time with new, clean vans. Jose, our driver of multiple transfers, was extremely nice and punctual. His English is excellent. Salem was very responsive to our communications on WhatsApp. I highly recommend Playa Grande Shuttle and Tours for excursions and transfers. They are a great company.

5.00My friends and I were in Playa Grande for 10 days and booked 3 private classes with Manuela. She came to the house we were staying at to teach us the classes and also provided us with mats! She is such a wonderful soul. She themed and planned each class exactly for what we wanted and truly needed and gave us all super helpful adjustments and specific variations. Thank you for an unforgettable experience and we cannot wait to come back!!

5.00This was our third time in Costa Rica, The house we rented helped us to coordinate yoga lessons with Manuela, our instructor. Prior to the class, Manuela came to our house to meet us and talked with us regarding small but important details (our wants/needs/injuries etc). The day of the class, she set us up with all of the mats and blocks for the people missing them. The class was wonderful. Two of us are yoga teacher’s and we felt in great hands in her class. The class was relaxing and great for stretching our body after 3 days of intense surf/surf attempts. In the end, we ended up requesting two extra lessons throughout the week. The company itself was very friendly and organized. Everytime we requested something, they act right away and with the best intentions they could.
