  The views, dance/ show, and coffee/ tea tasting was well worth the price of entry. From the Luwak to temple tour, the views are stunning and the people guiding you along are so kind and welcoming. We had a great experience with our tour guide Budi (ask for him, if you can!!!). He was knowledgeable and engaging throughout our time together. This experience is a must do, if you are in the area! I recommend being prepared for heat/ sweat (bring a fan, etc.). Everyone we interacted with was so kind and eager to make our experience even better! :) THANK YOU BUDI!!!!!!!!

  We had a lovely half-day accompanied by our guide and driver Wayan. Friendly and attentive. Gave us plenty of explanations (in English) about the temple. Very beautiful view with a stunning sunset just at the beginning of the fire dance performance of Keçak: impressive! I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because the dinner on the beach was average and especially noisy (loud music). Otherwise, I recommend it! 😊

  First the good: THE SHOW WAS WONDERFUL! We enjoyed it. It was about 45 minutes long. I’m EXTREMELY glad we booked through Viator. Our knowledgeable tour guide Budi likely saved us from loosing our glasses and cell phones to the somewhat aggressive monkeys that roam free. Budi also knew all the great photo spots and he was excellent at protecting us and our belongings from the monkeys. He guided us around the venue and made sure we were in the theater area in time to get a great seat. The ride from our hotel was about 1 1/2 hours. We stayed just outside Seminyak. Budi drove us safely there , on time, through the winding roads and huge traffic jams. After the show we were taken about 30 minutes away to a very nice restaurant where we enjoyed the ambience on the beach overlooking the ocean and enjoying live musician. The food was great too.! The negative: the bleacher style seating in the theater was rough on our tush !

  Leo was a gem. Managed to change our slot to an earlier one so we got to see the first show with the sunset. Great experience.

  We had a wonderful time with our guide who was very punctual, knowledgeable and kind. The fire dance was fantastic. We stopped for Luwak coffee tasting on the way to Uluwatu temple, which was a nice surprise. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

  Leo went above and beyond. He is a very caring human being. He helped my mother-in-law navigate the temple and made sure she didn't miss any of the spectacular views. He is easy to communicate with and has a kind protective spirit. I can't put into words how much we appreciate everything Leo did for us.

  The Viator telephone assistant on WhatsApp was very patient and helpful. He explained everything very clearly. Our driver, Edy Wayan was prompt and picked us up on time at the location we requested. He spoke English and even some Spanish so we had fun conversing with him. He was also able to tell us a lot of information about the different sites in Bali. He toured us through the Uluwatu Temple grounds and made sure we were safe near the monkeys. He is a very safe driver. I would love to have him as a driver next visit.

  The Private Uluwatu Temple and Kecak Fire Dance Evening Tour in Jimbaran Bay is definitely a mixed experience. On the positive side, the views are absolutely incredible—perched high on the cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean, the scenery alone makes the trip worthwhile. It’s one of those breathtaking backdrops that feels almost unreal, especially as the sun begins to set. That said, be prepared for extremely hot and humid conditions. It can be pretty intense, so bringing an umbrella for shade (and maybe a lot of water) is a must if you want to stay comfortable while exploring and waiting for the show. Unfortunately, the Kecak Fire Dance itself was a major letdown. It felt outrageously overrated and far too overcrowded. They pack what seems like over 1,000 guests into a space that realistically looks like it should seat maybe 300. There didn’t appear to be much regard for crowd control or evacuation safety, which made the experience feel uncomfortable rather than enjoyable. Another disappointment was the lack of guidance from the private tour guide. Even though we arrived early, there were no suggestions on where to sit. The performance is clearly designed to face one direction, and we ended up seated on the back side, which made it difficult to fully appreciate the show. On top of that, our seating area also blocked what could have been stunning sunset views and photos—one of the main reasons to attend in the first place. Overall, while the location and views are spectacular, the organization and execution of the fire dance portion really take away from what could have been an unforgettable experience.
