  The show is packed. The amount of people standing to get in and the seats are full, to include the actual stairs space. However, the Kecak dance was great to watch. Our driver/guide, Leo, was great. He provided excellent information and was able to answer all our questions. The view was fantastic!

• Disappointing Tour with Poor Communication

  We booked the Private Uluwatu Temple and Kecak Firedance Tour as our very first excursion during our honeymoon and were looking forward to a culturally rich and memorable experience. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. Booking & Communication After reserving the tour, I reached out to the operator (Putu from Di Bali) with some questions about the itinerary. It took several days and multiple messages before I received a reply, and even then, the answers were incomplete. I had simply asked for an idea of the itinerary and what to expect, but was told it would be explained on the day. This was puzzling, given that the pickup time was fixed and the Kecak dance performance follows a set schedule. I also asked whether the firedance took place at sunset and was told “yes.” However, we later discovered the show we attended was after sunset, which we would not have chosen if we had known. The earlier show (at sunset) would have suited us better and allowed for an earlier dinner afterward. Unfortunately, we were never informed that this was an option. Tip for future travelers: request the first show (sunset performance). Guide Experience Our guide, Lagawa, seemed in a rush throughout the tour and barely gave us any indication of the significance of the Uluwatu Temple. Instead of providing us with meaningful insights or context about the temple, he left us to wait around while other guides were giving other groups much more informative experiences. It felt rushed and disappointing, especially considering the cultural and religious importance of the site. This was not what we had hoped for from a private tour, and we found ourselves feeling unsatisfied and neglected. Overall Experience The entire experience felt poorly communicated and underwhelming. With better responsiveness from the operator and a more knowledgeable, engaging guide, this could have been a highlight. As it stands, we would not recommend this tour. It was a major letdown compared to other more informative and well-executed tours in Bali.

  Our tour guide my Pedro (Kade Pedro driver) was a charismatic and fun person and made the trip very enjoyable, we were well taken care of and learnt a lot !
