Descend 10 feet below the street level and discover what is buried right under the Roman streets you just walked on. You will explore a fascinating and completely different city from the ancient and early Christian time. See surprisingly well preserved buildings, paintings and other gems during this Rome Underground Tour.
Please note that on Tuesday, instead of the catacombs of Santa Domitilla, you will visit another catacomb. Also, on Tuesday and Wednesday instead of the Case Romane (Roman Houses), you will visit the Santi Cosma and Damiano church.

5.00Our Guide Brandon the Canadian was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the sites we visited. He also was able to provide good recommendations for restaurants in the area as well. The tour itself is definitely off the beaten path, if you are a history nut, something you should see.

5.00Once again TE delivered on its promises. Everything on time and all well arranged. We ended up with a private tour guide for just the two of us for the entire tour because the other group did not show

5.00Our guide Brandon was awesome and soooo knowledgeable about the sites. We enjoyed his enthusiasm for the art and history surrounding each of the locations. The stops are very conveniently located to each other and we especially liked the fact that we were ahead of the tour buses so it was quiet and we could take in the atmosphere without distraction. We took a light jacket and glad we did as the subterranean temp was considerably cooler than topside. Out of respect there are no photos allowed

5.00Our guide, Brandon was so informative and really brought the history to life. His enthusiasm for that time period was so infectious, I found myself wishing we could have taken him on the remainder of our holiday as everything else we looked at seemed meaningless without his dialogue. Definitely the highlight of my six week trip. Thank you Brandon! And our driver, Pietro?

5.00Our group of 6 met Brandon during the Private Underground Rome Tour with Catacombs. This was our fourth tour during our stay in Rome and our favorite based upon our tour guide. Brandon's knowledge and passion were evident, captivating the attention of not just the 2 adults but the 4 kids (ages 27, 21, 19 and 18) as well. His historical qualifications and education from Princeton are evident and helped showcase the hidden beauty in Rome.
Save $ take an Uber as tours have to be done by Catacomb employees; not Through Eternity

3.00Catacombs of Domitilla were the catacombs we wanted to see. Our group tour was cancelled because no one signed up. So for $140 more we booked a private tour with Through Eyernity that picked us up at our hotel. So now we were paying over $300 for a 3 hour tour. First time to Rome live and learn. You need a tour guide from Domitilla to take you through the catacombs themselves so the tour guide from Through Eternity, does nothing. Save yourself a boat load of $; take an Uber to this catacombs; I think it’s $12 euros to get in with a tour and go back with Uber. Through eternity made one stop at a church and then never offered to take us back. Our driver dropped us off and that was that. Good thing my husband and I had not been to Ancient Rome and walked all around. Our guide Renita was amazing and sweet and probably knew we were duped. The thing about charging us way to much $ is now the world will know that there is a way easier way to do Catacombs as a tourist and NOT to do this through them
