This tour will give you a full perspective of Sintra, it's history and the amazing landscape of the Natural Park.
By my experience, this is a unique opportunity to visit all these places, it will not be possible by yourselves.
I'll leave you in all the monuments, wait for you after each visit, take to the next visit and so on.
I don't impose a limit of time for the visit of each monument, it will depend on you.
There's no hurry in this tour, ending time doesn't exist. My goal is that, at the end, you're satisfied.

Palacio Nacional e Jardins de Queluz
This is the first monument to visit, it takes around 1:30h to visit. I'll be waiting for you for the next monument. The National Palace of Queluz, also known as Queluz Royal Palace, is a Portuguese royal residence, in the municipality of Sintra, which was built as such between 1747 and 1760 on the project of the architect Jean-Baptiste Robillon and at the behest of Prince Pietro (Pedro) III (1717-1786) husband of Queen Maria I (1734-1816) who transformed a pre-existing country residence. Called the "Versailles of Portugal", the palace was used above all as a place of entertainment for the royal family: concerts, bullfights and fireworks were held there, especially on the occasion of religious holidays or other events. Queen Maria I lived here for many years, but otherwise the palace was not very frequented by the royal family. It is still used for concerts and as a reception place for foreign heads of state, it also houses the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art. Ticket costs 10eur

5.00António is the most knowledgeable tour guide. He explained the history of every castle, palace and park, added some local spots to the itinerary, and helped us discover some of the most amazing landscapes we have ever seen. I felt like a local exploring Sintra for the day. You do have to pay for admission to all the castles and palaces, total is around 100 euro per person. You may also have to reserve the time at Quinta de Regaleira or Pena palace, so plan that ahead of your trip if those are on your bucket list. I would tour with Antonio again without hesitation. Can not recommend him enough!

5.00Antonio is a very caring and patient guide. He has our comfort in mind to enjoy the experiences. He was prepared for everything- walking sticks stool to get out of the van,rain jacket umbrellas water you name it He also knows where to get the good pastries and treated us as well! He lets you linger and enjoy the areas at your own pace Also very knowledge about the sites with summaries about the places to visit in our own language and can customize if you want to see something else that what’s in the itinerary Van is very comfortable and expert in driving Book early!

5.00This one-day private tour of Sintra was a wonderful experience, especially thanks to our tour guide António, who made the whole trip warm and professional. On the rainy weather that day, Antonio was very careful and actively lent an umbrella to my daughter, this little move really makes one feel warm and cared for. In addition to the trip itself, he also took us specifically to the local cafés, giving us the opportunity to experience the real local atmosphere and Cintra-specific pastry, rather than just tourist-style horse walks and flowers, which is impressive. António provides a very detailed and clear explanation of each location, not only introducing the building itself, but also explaining the historical background and cultural context, allowing us to better understand the meaning of each attraction. Even on the way from Lisbon to Sintra, he continues to introduce Lisbon’s history and important landmarks, making the whole journey rich and fun. Overall, this is a high-quality private tour of perfect arrangement, professional explanation and service. If you want to learn more about Sintra while enjoying flexibility and comfort, I highly recommend this tour, along with a tour guide António.

5.00Fantastic trip with Antonio. Sintra monuments were unreachable due to storm damage, but Antonio was prepared with a plan b that took us to bhudda Eden, Obidos, nazare and batalha monastery. Unhurried and relaxed with plenty of time to shop and snack. Worth it!

5.00We had the absolute best tour today thanks to António. From the moment we got in the van, we knew we were in great hands. He was kind, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and so accommodating. The tour van was spotless and even smelled good which was a nice touch. António took us to so many amazing places it’s honestly too many to list. Along the way, he shared history and culture in a way that was engaging, easy to understand, and genuinely interesting. Never boring and never rushed. What really stood out was how attentive he was. He always made sure we had everything we needed, checked in to see what we wanted to do, and let us spend as much or as little time at each stop as we liked. It felt completely personalized, relaxed, and thoughtful. We will absolutely be booking more tours with António. If you’re considering a tour, stop thinking and just do it. You won’t regret it.

5.00Antonio was easily the best guide we had for our Portugal vacation. He is very professional, punctual, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He has a comfortable van and greets you with a printed itinerary for the day. He lets you choose the experience you want at the pace you are comfortable with. During our Sintra trip his itinerary included places we would not have not known if we had not gone with Antonio. All the places in his itinerary really enrich your experience. We also had a custom trip planned with him to drive us from Porto to Lisbon with multiple stops on the way. He generously worked with me to modify the previously planned itinerary at no additional cost to include stops ( Tomar and Coimbra) which we had planned for another day with another tour operator who unexpectedly cancelled on us. Antonio is an amazing guide and a wonderful resource for your travel in Portugal and I wholeheartedly recommend him.

5.00We spent an incredible day with Antonio, exploring the palaces of Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and so many other beautiful places along the coast between Sintra and Lisbon. He also brought us to a wonderful restaurant in Sintra to pick up lunch and shared so many other restaurant recommendations and tips for traveling in Portugal. Our tour with Antonio was the very best part of our trip, and I encourage everyone to book at least one tour with him. It is the best way to see and learn about Portugal and he is a delight to be with. We traveled with two teenagers, and our time with Antonio was also their favorite part of the trip. A tour with Antonio is an absolute “must do” when visiting Portugal!

5.00Mr. Antonio is a great driver and guide. 1: attitude he was punctual and considerate, responded to our requests without fail; 2: itinerary he adjusted the itinerary according to our needs, so that we enjoyed as much as we could; 3: profession his driving skill and introduction on these sites are impeccable. He led us into the sites, or met us after the tour. He told us the story behind the scene. And along the way, he introduced different buildings and historical sites to us. Of course, he recommended some nice local eateries, too!
