  Best beach experience, warm water, pink sand and secret carve, then end with Venetian harbor at Chania. Our guide even prepare the picnic lunch for us.

  We were so lucky to find Georgios and Nikos! They took us to Elefonsi beach and talked to us about what else we wanted to see along the way. We decided to stop at a cave shrine and a seafood restaurant for late lunch after the beach. Nikos shared lots of interesting facts about the island. We booked with them again the next day for Falasarna beach and sunset dinner. Again Nikos arranged everything including great beach loungers and the best table ever at a beautiful taverna where we had a sunset dinner of traditional Crete food and wine. Then they picked us up the next day for the airport. They completely made our trip in Crete which was so important for our group of 6.   The beach was very pretty, clear shallow water. Got a bit crowded in the afternoon and cannot walk out near the rocks since they are very sharp. I wish the reviews mentioned hike to and from the beach. It was a long ride then it took about 15-20 minutes with uneven terrain to hike to the beach. The driver showed us another swimming hole on the drive back that was for locals and just as pretty with only two other people there. Wish we would have gone here instead. Paddle boards could not be provided, nor could we have used them or the snorkel gear since the water was very shallow. Had to get past the rocks to use the snorkel gear which really wasn't worth it. The driver also seemed to be in a hurry and dropped us off in the town to make our way back to the shuttles to ride to be cruise port. Told us we could pay to take a bus to the shuttle stop if we did not want to walk.

  It was such a Fantastic day trip We were picked up right on time and did a beautiful drive through the hills of Crete Even though it was cloudy the pink sand Beach was beautiful. We packed a picnic but there were lots of places to buy food. We were given snorkeling equipment and we did use it and saw a few fish. On the way back we stopped at a local vender for some tastings. It was such a wonderful experience. I would recommend to all.

  Picked up on time and very friendly driver. He talked about places on the way and arranged to pick us up just before the rain started! Beach was beautiful and we enjoyed the visit.

• Great alternative to a cruise ship excursion

  Four of us booked this excursion from the cruise port, and had a great time. Our guide was easy to meet right after exiting the cruise port, and the van was comfortable. At our driver’s suggestion, instead of visiting Elafonissi, we instead opted to visit Falassarna Beach, which was (we understand) far less crowded and where we could count on having umbrellas and lounge chairs without having to fight the summer crowds. I believe this was the right choice, and the beach we wound up with had affordable chairs (7 Euros each) and relatively inexpensive, tasty Greek food options that could be ordered from your beach chair. All in all, Falassarna was beautiful, the drive was easy, and our driver/guide was great. Two small points that didn’t detract from our trip at all, but are worth mentioning: (1) I don’t think paddleboarding was an option, and instead we were offered snorkeling equipment. Not an issue for us because we were more interested in relaxing and swimming than paddleboarding. (2) The tour is “private” in that you aren’t taking any public transportation, but you should anticipate that another group may also be on your tour with you. Not a complaint, just an observation.

  Beautiful tour. Fast and pleasant drive to Elafonisi with a stop to the St.Sofia cave. Our hists were very friendly and we had a nice time together. You should mind that due to the restrictions related to the ecological protection of the area, the sunbeds are now a bit far from the deep water. But it is still a fantastic place to visit.

  Elafonissi Beach is pretty, but the sand is not nearly as pink as advertised and there is a fairly long walk down to the beach from the parking lot. Also, SUPs are no longer available, and that was one of the main reasons we chose this excursion. Umbrellas and chairs are available. But at an additional cost. the other hand, our guide was accommodating and was willing to go out of his way. The scenery on the way to the beach was beautiful!

  George was very friendly and helpful at all times, he picked us up at the hotel on time, we had booked the Balos tour, but because that day was cloudy and we told him that we wanted to go to Elafonissi, he suggested changing the route and we accepted it, always attentive to what we needed and very available. I bring drinks and snacks for the excursion. In the end we came back and he took us to a very good place to eat.
