  We hired a van and driver for the day for 5 adults and 3 kids. I was concerned my kids might be too noisy for others if we joined a specific tour. We essentially did a tour of Port Vila, Blue Lagoon, 83 Distillery and lunch back in Port Vila over 5 hour period. Our driver Julian was the best guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and had excellent tips of things to see and do beyond our requests. We wanted to see certain parts of Port Vila catering to a variety of interests (Parliament, Courthouse, Schools etc) and he showed us so much more and taught us a lot about his country. Excellent suggestions for eating in the area too. Would highly recommend and request Julian!

  We started off later than we expected because of the cruise ship tenders, but we kept Phillip Ayong of Yumi Tours informed. He was very accommodating. He suggested a number of the well known activities around Port Vila, but we proposed an alternative itinerary and he readily adapted. He had a lot of good information about the country, town, and his family. He was a good and careful driver in the Yumi Tour Company 4 door clean, well maintained, and air conditioned pickup. We went to the Vanuatu National Museum, Gaston Chocolate Factory, Tanna Coffee Factory, Fatumaru Promenade, and 83 Islands Distillery. We thought each stop was well worth the visit. While going through Viator undoubtedly cost more than going direct, we received a great private tour that fully met and exceeded our expectations.

  We discovered Philippe during a hotel/airport transfer. We kept his phone number because he is very friendly and fluent in French and English. I called him back because it was impossible to have a rental car. In a few minutes everything was settled, I had a car. A big thank you to Philippe who is extremely kind and friendly, a person of rare generosity who can be trusted.

  We had such a fantastic time today with Stan and Vincent. thank you so much for taking us to a handful of your absolutely beautiful hidden sites of Port Vila. We loved every bit of our tour today. Blue Lagoon, Turtle Sanctuary and Rarru Falls. and for going out of your way to ensure our kids didn't have to walk in the rain back to the boat at the end of our day :) and the lunch provided at blue lagoon was such a treat. Thank you so much to the ladies who provided this. This trip has been so much fun for our group of family and friends. Thanks again

  We arrived at Port Vila on a Cruise ship and booked a driver and guide through Yuma tours to take our group of 8 to the Blue Lagoon and Eden on the River. They were at the wharf to meet us off the boat. the process was easy efficient and both Alfred and Phil were friendly, knowledgable and made us feel completely welcome to their country. Along the way to the blue lagoon and Eden on the river, Phil our driver kept us safe and Alfred gave us information on all the local icons, customs and interesting facts and a real incite into their country, customs and values. We had a fantastic day, the kids loved jumping into the blue lagoon and river from the ropes, both destinations were beautiful.We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Yuni Tours for making it such a wonderful shore excursion!!!

  Great option to have the car to ourselves for the day and go at our own pace. We saw Bridges of Eden, Blue Lagoon and Reef Zoological. Chris the driver was great.

  Another wonderful tour with Yumi Tours in Port Vila. Great communication with Philip, the owner. We planned a day to see what we wanted to see, and nothing was too much trouble. Our driver/guide Abel went above and beyond to find a book for me so I could learn more Bislama. We met Philip at the dock, and went off with Abel to start our day, in a lovely air conditioned van. We stocked up on cold drinks (and Abel’s favourite biscuits☺️) and made our way to the very interesting National Museum of Vanuatu, and then onto the Duty Free shop. We also visited The Reef Vanuatu and was very impressed with the pristine conditions of the turtle/hatchling enclosures and the knowledge of the guides at each pool. It didn’t take long to see everything as it was quite small, but worth the visit. Our next stop was the Blue Lagoon, one of my favourites. As always, it was beautiful and refreshing. This time around, we enjoyed the Yumi Tours BBQ lunch that was put on by Philip and his beautiful wife, and staff. The cold drinks were particularly welcome, and we didn’t want to leave! Philip, Jayne, and their children feel like family to me, and I can’t wait to see them again next year when I book my third tour with Yumi. Vanuatu is truly a beautiful place, with very friendly and welcoming people and Vila holds a special place in my heart. If I could live there, I’d move in a heartbeat. Thank you Yumi Tours💖

  Enjoyed a fantastic day being driven around Efate by Abel. Abel is very friendly and knowledgeable and added to our experience by sharing cultural, historical and geographic facts with us. He is also very laid back! We visited the duty free shop for very, very cheap alcohol; Coffee stop at Havannah Eco Village for amazing views of the tranquil bay and islands; Pepeyo Cultural Village which is very interesting and well worth a visit where Chief "Watcha?" shared his local knowledge about hunting and medicinal plants' walking on hot rocks and musical performance; Volcanic springs and mud bath - amazing experience to bathe in the mud, rinse off and "cook" yourself in the 50 deg. C. pool; Very tasty & plentiful bbq lunch cooked by Philip (owner of Yumi Tours) and his wife and mother-in-law, and finally a visit to share in the local kava experience. Cannot fault our tour, so do yourselves a favour and book a private tour directly with Yumi Tours. You'll not regret it. Thank you Philip and Abel for making our day on Efate the highlight of our cruise.

  We organised a private tour as 7 in our group and much cheaper than the cruise ship tours and we went where we wanted to go. Easy to find on the dock, our van and driver waiting for us. Abel our driver was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly and adapted the day to our requirements. It was so good to go to thermal baths, village with no one around. We had lunch at blue lagoon and had lots of fun jumping of platforms and swinging from Tarzan ropes. I highly recommend Yumi’s tour, best part of our cruise.
