Enjoy this spectacular private walk with your friends, and you'll experience a little bit of everything – bush, beaches, headlands and vineyards.
We start with a walk through restored and regenerating bush up to the headland for some breathtaking views of the islands of the Hauraki Gulf.
We continue through lush, established bush tracks and rolling hills, where you’ll enjoy lovely views of valleys, vineyards and the sea.
There’s time for wine tasting and/or lunch at two of Waiheke’s best-loved vineyards – Mudbrick Vineyard, Jurassic Ridge or Cable Bay Vineyards – with tasting options to suit all budgets.

Despite a cyclone, the tour went on thanks to our incredible guide!

5.00We were disappointed to wake up on our first full day in New Zealand to be greeted by a passing cyclone. At first it appeared all ferries were understandably cancelled but for some reason we were able to get on one! Our guide, Maria, was waiting for us at the ferry terminal on Waiheke and off we went despite the torrential rains. Maria's familiarity and love for her island was evident from our first minutes with her and although some adjustments were made to the tour because of the weather, it turned out to be fabulous! Her knowledge and enthusiasm made for the most interesting day. We were taken to beautiful beaches and vistas, had a wonderful lunch, enjoyed the winetasting at Mud Brick and learned so much about Waiheke and New Zealand from her. A great introduction to this beautiful place! Towards the end the sun came out and Maria was able to take us on a hike through a native forest as she explained many of the plants and animals. Fascinating! We will never forget this special day, thank you!

5.00Great day spent with our tour guide, Lisa. We took a lovely hike through the area while she pointed out native plants and birds, along with the uses of the plants. We then toured two vineyards and enjoyed wine tasting before going to a scenic lookout spot for a picnic lunch. Definitely a great thing to do for a half day on the island.

5.00Renee was a terrific guide - very knowledgeable and cheerful. Highly recomnend this excursion for the views and a taste of what Waiheke offers
when we arrived without proper attire for a bush walk, Marie arranged for a van and we did the tour with additional sigh

5.00Fantastic experience. Our guide, Cindy, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much information about the island, its history, flora and fauna and its culture and traditions. Cindy was very happy to adapt our tour to suit us and the weather conditions.

5.00We had a great day on the island! After the ferry ride over, we were met by our guide, Renee, who was fantastic. She led us on a very scenic walk along the coast followed by a wine tasting and picnic lunch. As a native New Zealander, Renee was able to provide us with good background on the Auckland area, as well!

5.00Dell provided a well organized, informative,guided experience on the Bush walk and wine tastings. Along with a picnic lunch on a shady table on the way to the wine tastings. It is a fairly easy hike with spectacular view of the bay. Dell shared a lot of information about the environment, flora and fauna.

5.00A beautiful tour with fantastic views in a suitable pace. The guide was very knowledgeable and could answer all questions. The wine tasting was also very nice and a great lunch
