This tour is a very good option to spend a full day in Xi'an. There are multiple attractions on the itinerary, including the amazing Terracotta Army, a taste of local life and culture (cave homes), and more. My guide was Michael and I thoroughly enjoyed spending the time with him. He spoke English very well and was able to provide a lot of interesting information to me. I can certainly recommend this trip to everyone!

A really excellent tour that covers a lot of history. Michael was a charming and efficient guide with a wealth of knowledge which he clearly loved imparting. The visit to the cave dwelling is quite short but very touching as a glimpse of a way of life that is fast disappearing. We had a really excellent noodle lunch in a local restaurant in a town near the Terracotta Army - it's up to you whether you join the locals in the enjoyment of the bowl of raw garlic on every table, but I found it really worked with the noodles. The speciality of the place was seat belt noodles, the width of a seat-belt and almost as long - you order by how many you want 2 noodles is a decent portion for a westerner Michael claims to eat 4! The Hanyangling Museum is not on the main tourist itineraries but more than merits a visit as it is a really well-designed museum in which you actually walk over the archaeological site on glass floors. Quite fascinating. All in all, an excellent day.
