Your experience begins with a private pickup at your accommodation in Flores or El Remate. Travel comfortably for approximately 2 hours to Yaxhá, with a relaxed 45-minute stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy a choice of five dishes. Upon arrival at the Yaxhá Archaeological Site, enjoy a 2.5-hour guided exploration enriched with fascinating insights into Maya archaeology, history, flora, and fauna. Walk through jungle pathways and climb several temples and pyramids at an unhurried, personalized pace. The experience concludes with a guided climb at one of the temples an accessible and rewarding ascent. From the summit, take in sweeping views of endless green jungle, surrounding lake, distant temples, and abundant wildlife, with excellent chances of witnessing a spectacular sunset over Lake Yaxhá. After sunset, enjoy a short 20-minute walk back to the vehicle before returning comfortably to your accommodation in Flores or El Remate, with an approximate 2-hour drive.

5.00My husband and I were picked up by our tour guide, Amando, and his driver. On the way to lunch at a restaurant he was talking about the history of the Mayans and about Yaxha and Tikal parks. Lunch was delicious, and soon after we arrived at the park where we received our tickets to start our tour. It was a slow, easy pace with many stops to learn about the temples, stellas and cosway’s we saw along the way. Amando explained things in perfect detail and in an excitement to share everything about this area and their history that peaked my interest. We climbed temples, took breaks, stopped to watch spider monkeys play and drink water. Soon enough we arrived at the sunset viewing spot. The view was breathtaking. When we arrived back at the car, his driver had cold towels for us to wipe our faces, and cold water as well. It was the perfect end to the tour. When they dropped us off at our hotel, we sincerely thanked them for a memorable tour. I would highly recommend taking a tour with this company.

5.00Our guide Luis was the best we had on the trip, he had a lot of information and experience. The super friendly driver Hugo took us to the edge. Wonderful views for the sunset.

5.00This was a last minute decision and I am so happy we decided to book this private tour! Everything was just perfect. From the lunch to the personalized tour. Our driver was very safe and our guide, Miguel Antonio was full of knowledge. I hadn’t heard about Yaxha before visiting Flores and had the best time in the ancient Mayan archeological site. Worth the visit
