Our Winter and Summer Safaris are led by a wildlife biologist with years of experience guiding in Yellowstone. During the Winter we will focus on wolf watching, viewing moose, bison, elk, coyote, etc.
We will depart your accommodations and head towards Yellowstone’s northern range, undoubtedly one of the prime wildlife viewing spots in the world, it harbors impressive bison herds, wolf packs, and meandering bears. Visitors are likely to depart from the park’s northern lands with at least one, if not more, checks on their wildlife card. Wild and pristine. When thinking about Yellowstone, a vast and amazing back-country, large carnivores, bison herds, iconic geysers, and geothermal features fill the imagination.
Weather permitting we will stop to take fun family friendly hike or two to a secluded lake or waterfall. Mid way through the tour we will stop for lunch at a scenic area.
Time permitting we will walk the boardwalks of Mammoth Hot Springs.
Hot coco and coffee is provided!

5.00Alex was outstanding ! We saw elk , bison , pronghorn , grizzly bears , and a bull moose ! The knowledge Alex has of the area and the wildlife is superior ! Definitely recommend and if you take this tour ask for Alex !

5.00Yellowstone adventure Tours delivered BIG today. 🐻 Thanks to our fearless guide Randolph, we basically starred in our own National Geographic episode. We saw a record-breaking number of bears. Our final count was: 21 grizzlies + 6 black bears (yes, that’s not a typo). We saw 3 wolves which is apparently ultra rare.🐺 Did we see Elk and bison you might ask? Let’s just say if we had a $100 dollar bill for every one, we’d retire early. 🦬 We’re still hunting down a moose. We’re choosing to believe they’re waiting for us in Jackson.🫎 We also got to lay eyes on 3 mountain goats scaling cliffs, 5 pronghorn antelope grazing in a field, 4 whitetail deer, 6 mule deer 🦌and one very confused rabbit as we pulled into our driveway. 🐇 The Yellowstone Grand Canyon was the pièce de résistance. As incredible as each of the animal sightings were this is what made us all feel small in the best way. Randolph was an incredible wealth of knowledge and went out of his way to give us the best experience possible. I can’t imagine another tour company offering anything on the level of Yellowstone Adventure Tours. Choose them for your tour needs. You will not regret it. Now, after a day of “bear-ly believable” sightings, it’s pizza → sleep → repeat. 🍕💤

5.00Started our amazing day at 6:00am with Syd taking us to every location for perfect wildlife viewing to include: grizzlies, moose and moose calf, black wolf, elf, bison, antelope, black bear and cubs, big horn sheep, mountain goats. Syd was incredibly knowledgeable regarding habitats of the animals, their behavior, and overall park history. She was professional and most pleasant to spend the day with and answered all our questions. At the end of the tour, Syd provided pictures and videos of the day and even offered great suggestions for the rest of our stay in Yellowstone! We would highly recommend Yellowstone Adventure Tours and will be back for sure!

5.00Our tour was great. Our guide Tim was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about all aspects of Yellowstone. We were able to see lots of wildlife and some extremely interesting and beautiful natural wonders. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00We had a wonderful day with Andrea. He is knowledgeable & so much fun! I've spent time in the area, but this is my first time going on a guided tour. Why did I wait so long?? Hands down, the best way to explore the area. Our entire group agrees it is an unforgettable way to experience Yellowstone. We had the opportunity to see so much wildlife in the beautiful landscape of this fantastic park. Also, the coffee, beverages, snacks, and sandwiches hit the spot throughout the day.

5.00Simply amazing! Andrea was phenomenal! His knowledge and excitement throughout the day was unreal! We saw grizzlies, wolves, elk, bison and trumpet swans just to name a few. This trip is a must for anyone visiting Yellowstone.

5.00Fantastic day with Andrea. His knowledge of the park and the animals within was amazing. We saw two grizzly bears, multiple wolves, elk, muskrat, grouse, trumpet swans, bald eagles, bison, mule deer, American pronghorn and a Pine Marten. Highly recommend this experience and strongly recommend the earliest start to the day you can do.

We loved the pace of the easy hikes – perfect for enjoying the scenery without being strenuous. Andrea was attentive, informative, and created a perfectly balanced day. 5.00WOW! Our experience with this company and our guide, Andrea, was fantastic! From the booking, communication on pickup time so we had the best chance of seeing everything we wanted, communication on the day of the tour, to the actual tour….all of it was amazing! Andrea was very knowledgeable about the area, the park, the history and the animals. What I loved the most was that the guides and fellow avid animal trackers all stay in contact with each other so that they notify each other of wolf and bear sightings. It is obvious that they respect each other, the park and its inhabitants, and the veterans that have been doing this a long time. The company provided each of us with high-power binoculars and setup scopes for us to view everything! We saw 7 wolves from the Rescue Pack, a mama bear in her den, some moose, bald eagle, and tons of bison! Andrea was able to record the wolf sightings so that we could have the videos! The lunch was yummy! Overall the experience was one of a kind! Make sure you pack your patience because the animals work on their time, not yours. Respect Mother Nature and tip your guides! My only complaint…I wish it lasted another 5 hours!
