Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Boulders Beach in Simons Town is where the penguin colony resides and it’s one of the most popular tourist attractions in Cape Town. Every year thousands of tourists come to see these charismatic little sea creatures in their natural habitat. There is something about these cute animals that leaves you with a sense of awe and wonder when you leave the place. Entrance fee: Adults - $10 Kids - $5
Cape of Good Hope
The Cape of Good Hope is the most southern point of the Cape Peninsula with breathtaking views and scenery. When you arrive you can take the tram to the lighthouse at the front or you can do a short hike there. Once you get there you can do another short hike further to the front for some more stunning views. For those who want to do a longer hike there is another trail past a beautiful beach. Finally, there is a restaurant and a shop for refreshments and souvenirs. Entrance fee: Adults(12+) - $22 Kids(2-11) - $11

5.00We had a great day with Ruan. We started at Boulders Beach near the penguins and then drove on to the Cape of Good Hope. Afterwards we went to Kalk Bay for a great meal and met some sea lions. Ruan designed the day completely according to our wishes.

5.00Hi Ru We joined a private tour in Cape Town yesterday. At the meeting point, Mr. Ru was searching for us in the crowd, which we truly appreciated. Fortunately, he had sent us a photo of the vehicle in advance, so we were able to spot it and wait nearby until he returned. Due to a delay in our cruise ship’s arrival, two other guests had missed their original tour and joined ours, making a group of four. Mr. Ru kindly adjusted the itinerary to include Table Mountain and even helped us with wine purchases. His flexibility and thoughtful support made the experience truly special. 5.00Ruan was an incredible tour guide and driver for my trip throughout the Cape Peninsula with my husband. He was very friendly and provided us with a lot of knowledge about each place we stopped at. Additionally, the customized tour to our time frame was a great personal touch. 5.00We had an incredible day exploring Boulders Beach, Cape Point, an ostrich farm, Kalk Bay, and Chapman’s Peak with Ruan. The tour was perfectly tailored to us, and Ruan was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Ruan originally is from the area of Stellenbosch and hence is very experienced with activities and things to do there. He picked us up in a nice car and drove us back home and we felt safe at all times! The penguins at Boulders Beach were adorable, Cape Point’s views were stunning, and the ostrich farm was very interesting as we had never seen anything like it (was also quite the spontaneous idea). Delicious cheese cake in Kalk Bay and a scenic drive up Chapman’s Peak were the perfect end to a great day. Highly recommend Ruan for an unforgettable and tailored Cape Town experience!

5.00We first met Ruan after he picked us up on an Uber right from the waterfront. He helpfully informed us he offered private tours. After looking at his social media he very quickly booked our tour to cape peninsular for the next day. The overall experience was great. He was very knowledgable and passionate and Cape Town and showed us some amazing sights and attractions. The trip was very enjoyable and would highly recommend for private tours.

5.00We were visiting cape town and had just half a day available, nevertheless Ruan was amazing and planned the perfect day trip for us to enjoy as much as we could and tailored to our availabilities. We had a trip to the coast and penguin beach, and ended our trip with a nice sea-view lunch. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to plan a trip to the wine yards but we would love to do it next time!
