  JO was great! He was so helpful and understanding in what we wanted. We did a couples photoshoot on the beach for our 10 year anniversary. He was receptive to what we wanted and gave us great ideas. The pictures turned out great!

  My wife and I booked a photo session with JP Photographer during our first wedding anniversary trip to Punta Cana, and honestly, it ended up being one of the best parts of our entire vacation. From the moment we met JP, he made us feel completely at ease. He was professional, friendly, and easygoing, which helped a lot since neither of us are used to being in front of a camera. He guided us through the session with pose ideas that felt natural and romantic, never forced or awkward, and the whole experience was actually really fun. The photos themselves are absolutely stunning. The colors, the lighting, the composition—everything is beautiful. But what really stood out to us is how well JP captured the emotions between us. Looking through the photos feels like reliving the moment, not just seeing a picture of it. JP also went the extra mile in ways we didn’t expect. He had water bottles ready (which was a lifesaver in the heat) and even provided a changing area, which made everything feel relaxed and well thought out. Those little details made a big difference and showed how much he cares about his clients. He was on time, organized, and clearly passionate about what he does. It’s easy to see why so many people speak highly of him—he truly takes pride in his work and it shows in the final results. If you’re in Punta Cana and looking for a photographer who is talented, professional, and genuinely invested in capturing real moments, we can’t recommend JP Photographer enough.   I had the pleasure of working with Jp Echavarria Photography in Punta Cana for both solo and business photo sessions, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded my expectations in every possible way. From the very first interaction, he was extremely responsive, attentive, and well-organized. During the shoots, he created an atmosphere that was relaxed, joyful, and full of positive energy, while remaining highly professional and focused on delivering strong results. He knows exactly when and how to step in — guiding poses, adjusting details, and helping you express the right image with confidence and ease. What truly sets him apart is his human approach. • Beautiful family photos on the beach and great value for money!

  I discovered JP Photography by accident when I was searching TripAdvisor for things to do in Punta Cana. We hadn’t had any family photographs taken since the children were very little, so I thought, why not? I’m so glad I did! We now have over 100 beautiful family photographs. Even though it was the week of New Year’s, JP got the photos to us in only 4 days! It’s great that you automatically get all the digital photographs, so you can choose which ones you want to get printed once you’re back home. In the UK, professional photographers usually offer different packages based on how many photos you want to keep, and this can become very expensive, so I think JP really offers good value for money. I think we would have ended up with even more photographs if the kids hadn’t started running out of steam. It was only the second day of our holiday, so we hadn’t acclimatised to the warmer weather, and even though we went in the morning it still got pretty hot on the beach. JP arranged for a driver to collect us from the hotel and drive the 15 minutes to Macao Beach, and then back to the hotel afterwards. Again, this was all included in the price. It was a really beautiful location, with a wooden walkway from the car park through the mangroves where we saw lots of wildlife, including dragonflies, tortoises and a heron. We then walked past some local businesses at the beach, and it was nice to see the hustle and bustle of people setting up their stalls. When we were leaving the beach, we bought a virgin piña colada, which was absolutely delicious and as fresh as can be. We also bought a souvenir from a beach vendor, and as is expected in the DR, I did need to haggle on the price. We took JP’s advice to do the photo shoot first thing in the morning as the beach tends to be quieter. There were a few people around, but JP photoshopped these out of the photos, so it wasn’t anything to worry about. JP also had a pop-up tent so we could change outfits, and a cooler with iced water for us. The photo shoot itself was very low pressure and although we were posing for the photos, they mostly looked natural and relaxed, which was exactly what we wanted. JP spoke excellent English, was polite and professional and was flexible. I can’t recommend him highly enough! It was absolutely great value for money, no hidden extras and beautiful memories we’ll treasure forever. I have attached a couple of photos he took - I’ve blurred out our faces for privacy.   I cannot not express how much I love our engagement photos JP did. They are breathtaking! The entire experience from pick up at the hotel to drop off was flawless. JP gave fantastic recommendations on poses and made everything very comfortable throughout the entire process. Definitely recommend!

  Our experience with JP was nothing short of amazing. He was very accommodating to our needs and took us to a beautiful, secluded beach for our photos. He sent a driver to take us to and from the photo shoot, which made things very easy. We were admittedly a little nervous at first, but his fun and positive attitude quickly dispelled any and all doubts. I would absolutely recommend him to anybody trying to have a special moment captured during their stay in the Punta Cana area.

  JP is not only a special and famous Photographer but also really kind photographer. Thanks to him we bget some very beautiful and nice souvenirs of Punta Cana. I really recommend him, he is super adaptable and propose some nice poses that make you bright!
