  Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and kind. All the bioluminescence from the fireflies to the plankton was very cool. Dinner was great!

  We had an unforgettable evening thanks to our guide Weng and our RV driver. They were punctual and very professional. Weng shared a wealth of fascinating information about fireflies with us, details I wouldn't have found anywhere else. Their sympathy and kindness made the experience very pleasant, and time passed without me realizing it. The absence of moonlight that night magnified our observation of fireflies. The spectacle of these little creatures dancing in the air, in total calm, was magical. It was a moment of pure serenity that will remain engraved in my memory. A huge thank you to Weng and RV for this extraordinary experience. I will definitely book with them for other activities. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

  At first we didn't see any Kitu Kito ( fire flies) the the captain of the boat explain sometimes the flies are still. Then the captain sprinkled some water on the leaves and the flies gave us the most beautiful show Thank you so much for an excellent adventure

  Fantastic hotel! Me and my boyfriend were super happy. The hotel goes the extra mile all the time. Nice hotel room with everything you need and then some. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was 10/10👌 Will definitely come back!

• Fireflies and bioluminescent plankton

  Well the fireflies were great, the tour guide was great, the dark still night air was great, and even faster that they didn’t mention is the super cool bioluminescent water. As we were paddling or moving our hand in the water, it glows bright blue.

  Great guide, lots of local information. Not far from PPS and the food was fantastic. Enjoyed the quiet river and there were some fireflies. Well worth the value.

  If you've never seen fireflies, take this trip. River boat thru mangroves with thousands of glowing fireflies. Dinner at a local roadside restaurant

  This was really cute . My Pinoy partner relived his childhood when he was catching fire flies in the river . The food was great and we really enjoyed going through the mangroves by night. For me the first time to have a fire fly in my hand. It is magic and reminds me of the Pater Pan story . Go do the tour.

  The organization was very good. We had a super nice tour guide and the dinner was also very delicious. The drive across the river was also beautiful. Just the amazing starry sky. Unfortunately, we haven't seen as many fireflies as we imagined. We thought it was crawling with fireflies, and it's lit up everywhere. I'm afraid it wasn't. On a few trees it flashed and the boater splashed them with water, so it flashed more. In addition, there was also glowing plankton in the water when the boater knocked very loudly against the boat. That was also beautiful. We can definitely recommend the tour.

  Particular night excursion on the Nagsaguipi river to admire the many fireflies that populate the mangroves of the river. Tours generally start shortly after sunset, and take place in an unspoilt area, away from light pollution. You get on a small traditional rowing boat with 8 seats. Conducting and rowing is the task of the accompanying sailor and this is also to minimize noise and not disturb the natural environment. At times groups of fireflies appear flying over mangrove trees. I thought I was seeing more from what I had read, maybe the weather or the weather conditions weren't ideal. You cannot use the flash to take photos (understandable) also because, in this case, it is ineffective, so “no photos”. Recommended use of an insect repellent, as the area is wet and rich in mosquitoes. After the excursion, you return to the center where you can dine at self-service, decent food quality, reduced choice
