National Museum of Qatar
Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel, the National Museum of Qatar draws inspiration from and recreates the naturally occurring crystal formations known as the desert rose. Built around Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al-Thani’s original palace, the seat of government for 25 years, the National Museum of Qatar gives voice to Qatar’s heritage whilst celebrating its future. It spans a whopping 430,500 square feet. A vibrant and immersive space that invites all visitors to explore Qatar's rich heritage and culture.

It was a memorable experience; the children verbalized they had fun; and we visited other places like katara and pearl highland.

5.00Driver Zauraiz showed up online despite short notice , in large comfortable air conditioned suv. He first took us to National Museum aka Desert Rose. Going beyond call of duty he was the defacto museum guide and explained everything with full knowledge. He knew the sequences well so we wasted no time. Next the Islamic Art Museum of solid contents.After 4 plus hours of intense absorbing new knowledges we asked to substitute a walk in Souq Market because my shoes coming undone!Zauraiz took me to a shoes place there and make sure the one I picked was good quality. Again really above and beyond. Then we saw bird market etc and gladly gave up third museum on the list! 5 stars from us👍
