Decent amount of walking, but not strenuous. We had 12 people which was good for maneuvering among other tourists . Our guide met us right at noon and started promptly. History of Eastern Canada and Quebec to start with his insight on other pertinent topics. Guy researches a lot and it shows. Nice sense of humor also. Weather cooperated which also helped.

I recently participated in your tour of Old Quebec and, unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted by the way I was treated during the tour. While recording a short video on my phone, I was told by the guide to stop. I immediately respected this request and stopped recording. However, even after I had complied, the guide repeated this request two more times in front of the group. This made me feel singled out, embarrassed, and disrespected in front of the other guests. What made the situation more frustrating is that there is no mention anywhere on your website, booking information, or before the tour that video or audio recording is not permitted. Had I known this beforehand, I would not have booked the tour, as part of the value for me was being able to capture short video memories of the journey. After this incident, I even felt uncomfortable using my phone to take simple photos, which further diminished my enjoyment. I fully understand if your tours have rules regarding recording, but these should be clearly communicated before the tour begins. Instead, the way this was handled left me uncomfortable and unable to fully enjoy what should have been a memorable experience in Old Quebec. I hope you take this feedback into consideration so that future guests are informed ahead of time and do not have to go through a similar experience.

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He paced the walk well and there were places to stop and stare at the fantastic historical buildings (plus many photo opportunities 🙂). I learned a lot
