You choose the trail to be biked and nzbiketrails picks you up, and your group (up to 11 riders), for a Private Tour which we aim to be a highlight of your holiday.
We ride every day during the year (except xmas Day and Anzac Day). Whether it is Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter/Ski Season your family will enjoy a brilliant experience.
The nzbiketrails Guest Experience Manager will host your day, share a little history with you on the way, brief you on the trail/bikes, make sure that you are comfortable before you ride off with your seats at the right height.
Your actual ride is 'Self-Guided'. You will have a direct mobile number to your Guest Experience Manager for any support required and on many trails you will see them along the way.
If any of the group get tired we can arrange additional pickups and take them to meet you at the next location if possible.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Maximum rider weight over 130kg/286lbs/20stone 6lbs
Riders must be over the age of 8 years and taller than 130cm

Guests will choose a single trail to complete their Private Tour on. The trails to choose from include a selection of Queenstown Trails, Wanaka & Hawea Trails, Lake Dunstan Trail, Roxburgh Gorge (Jet Boat additional) and The Best 30km of the Otago Rail Trail. If you want to complete a number of rides then please book a number of consecutive days of this experience and nzbiketrails will link the experiences together for the group.

All food and drink is excluded from the Private Tour price. On every ride we will make sure that there is food and drink stops along the way.

5.00Amazing views with the chance to do some bungee jumping along the way. The biking itself is incredibly fun, especially if you do the shotover trail at the end.

5.00Brilliant day out used a lovely ebike that made the whole day easy and enjoyable. David explained how to use it in a simple and clear way. The scenery is stunning and there was opportunity for coffee and lunch. Highly recommended and will definitely do another.
