The cable car has become one of the main attractions of Quito since it opened its doors in 2005. The cable car is an excellent option to have a panoramic view of the Pichincha Volcano and the landscape of Quito. It starts at 2,950 meters above sea level and reaches 4,050 meters above sea level: the crest of Cruz Loma, next to the Pichincha volcano. It has 18 cars, which will go up the mountain range for 10 minutes. At 4050 meters, you will be greeted by a large scenic landscape. The páramo of the Pichincha volcano, at the top of Cruz Loma, offers a spectacular view of the entire city of Quito.

Transfer from your hotel to the Cable Car. The ascent to the top of the hill Cruz Loma lasts 10 minutes and starts at 2950 m above sea level then we reach an altitude of 4053 m above sea level (extension: 2.5 km), where there is an observation deck with panoramic view of the city.

5.00Fabian was a terrific guide, on time, courteous and extraordinarily knowledgeable. He was equally at home leading us up the mountain as he was discussing monetary policy and Ecuador’s shift to the US Dollar. He displays easy and deep knowledge of every area of Quito and surroundings. This was a terrific excursion led by a terrific guide.

5.00Fantastic tour by guide Fabian and driver Cesar! They worked at our pace and made the experience very enjoyable. We (4 of us) had traveled to Quito before starting a Galapagos excursion. Having arrived a few days early, we booked this private tour to see the city on our own and not with a group. Covid protocols were followed. Safety was never in question. The van was comfortable and well air conditioned. Cesar did a great job driving on some very challenging roadways. Fabian is knowledgeable, approachable, friendly and a pleasure to tour with. Food and drinks were not provided. Entrance fees were included. Highly recommend.

5.00Raul was our guide through the beautiful and historic city of Quito. He was very prompt on his arrival to pick us up at our hotel in the historic district. He was very informative and knowledgeable on the many stops on our tour. Never rushed and very relaxed, which was very good for a couple of guys from sea level trying to hike around at the top of Teleferico !! I highly recommend this tour and hope you enjoy your time in Quito as much as we did

5.00Hello!I was in Ecuador for the first time(+Galapagos).Everything was very much liked: both the historical, architectural and geographical-zoological components of this beautiful country. I want to note the good, coordinated work of the travel agency team and especially the interpreter Anton Teplogo. Together with me were tourists from St. Petersburg, traveling in the same car. I suppose they'll write the review themselves, but in our conversations and exchanges of information, they also enjoyed the work of our translator. I want to acknowledge the professionalism of our driver (I don't remember the name, alas). I will be pleased to recommend a trip to your straga.With respect-S.A.Tsyganov
