Quito Cultural City Tour by Bike (Small Group)

This is our left-of-centre tour. Discover local life on a bike as you pedal your way around to see art and experience culture. Chocolate tasting, history, street art, markets, parks and spectacular views await you.

• Ideal tour for people who want to see something other than ‘just’ the touristy parts of Quito

• Cycle through verdant parks and experience amazing views of the city from some amazing vantage points

A 100% refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. A refund processing fee of 6% applies. The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, duties, foreign transaction, currency exchange or other fees. Your bank or credit or debit card company may convert the payment into the local currency and charge fees, resulting in differences between the amount displayed on Viator.com and Viator-affiliated websites, and the final amount charged to your bank account or credit or debit card statement.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start date of the experience will receive no refund.

Keep in mind that Quito is 2867 metres above sea level. We recommend that you give yourself at least one day to acclimatise. Have a good night's sleep and eat lightly on the day of your tour. These all help combat altitude sickness.

It is imperative that you have current travel insurance including personal medical insurance. If you do not, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Quito Bike Tours be held responsible for any injuries incurred.

Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.

Quito Bike Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary without previous notifications due to unforeseen circumstances or weather. A refund or reschedule will be organised. An administrative fee will be applied to all refunds.

108 Yoga - La Floresta

9.00am – Ochoymedio, La Floresta We start from the iconic Ochoymedio Arthouse Cinema. We take a look at the amazing street art around La Floresta as well as tell you about some of the artists who painted them. We also taste some pretty awesome chocolate. 10.00am – La Floresta and visit a great lookout and hang out with some of the locals. This is a really interesting and not very frequented part of Quito. It’s definitely a hidden gem!

We went on a bicycle tour through keto on a rather busy day in the city. Danielle provided excellent guidance on navigating a beautiful city with plazas in narrow streets in the old town. Had a wonderful chocolate tasting and felt that we got bearings on the city and all it had to offer. It’s a great way to start a visit and and understand everything that keto has to offer. As we came to know this Tours operator we learned that they’re capable of longer bike, excursions and multi day tours of the full extend of Ecuador. I would highly recommend them for that one day or afternoon excursion or a multi day trip through the regions of Ecuador. We actually followed up the next day with a full day excursion on the cable car and into nature reserves because of the positive experience we had with Catalina, Daniel, Paul and their operation. Excellent communication throughout.

This was an awesome tour all around. Our guides Milton and Alejandro were a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. It was a great mix of history and culture, with a beautiful and not too strenuous bike ride. Highly recommend!

There were so many good things about this tour but the best was the tour guides, the information they provided on the different communities and the cultural sites we saw. The cycling was also very good, going through many small rural villages. The bikes were in great condition as were the gloves, safety vests and helmets they provided. This tour is definitely a 10/10!!

I recently had the most incredible experience on a bike tour in Ecuador, and I can't recommend it enough! If you're visiting Ecuador, this tour is a must-do. The service was excellent, and our guides shared the rich culture of their beautiful country in a fun and engaging way. Every place we visited was absolutely stunning. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to explore Ecuador on two wheels!

This is a great tour of Quito, you get to see a lot of history, go to a market, see cathedrals, etc. if you’re in decent shape you should be fine, there are hills towards the end of the of ride. This was supposed to be a 4 hour tour but it ended up being 7.5 hours, so please note that if you go, it could be much longer than expected. It didn’t include lunch and with how long it went over we got really hungry and had to eat lunch at the chocolate tasting. I think the tour company might want to mention the actual time frame next time. It was a great tour though!

Great way to see Quito Roberto and Milton made the experience great. They know a lot about history wildlife and they take you to city parks that you would never see on any other tour. A few hills. I had to stop and walk the bike but otherwise not difficult

A bike tour is by far the best way to see a city. Quito bike tour was excellent. Good well maintained bikes and great guides. Very interesting and fun.

I recomnded about them. I have been with them 5 trips. All the guids are speaking english, well experienced, and good service. Catalina, the manager, wins everything with a high hand.

The guides were very accommodating and informative on the city. We stopped at the beginning to do an activity. We went into new town then old town Quito. At the end we stopped at a chocolate tasting (very delish). There were 2 big hills but not too bad. We did have to ride basically all the way back to the starting point to return the bikes back to the office, but the ride back seemed easier and faster.
