Of course! During the Cusco Machu Picchu Tour your main luggage can be store at our office or at your hotel, both are for free. Please don´t pack anything you will need for your hike.

According to our government Laws you must be under 18 years of age at the time of your trek, tour, or visit to Machu Picchu (students 18 & above need ISIC cards). For example, if you book a trek at the age of 17 but you turn 18 before you do your trek, you do not qualify for a student discount.
students from 12 to 17 years old, they get discount of $20.
children from age of 2 to 12 they get discount of $20.
children from the age of 0 to 2 they are free.
All students must send a copy of their passport at booking time to get the discount.

Yes, you have to get your original passport and it is very important and it have to be the same passport number that you sent to us at book time, and also train ticket, other entrances and reservations Will have the same document. The rangers will check when you enter Machu Picchu. The train company will also check your passport before to board you’re the train.
In case you are changing your Passport or you lost and you get a new one, go ahead and send us your new passport information to secure your permit, and we can change it and when you get to our country no surprises and everything Will be fine.
The climate in our country is very variant and does not consider the normal 4 seasons. Here, in just one day we can see all of the seasons! And this is why we recommend our visitors to be prepared for any occasion, either for rain or sunny days.
A very important factor which alter our world is global warming, which has evolved into a high risky contributor due to the glaciers melting in Peruvian Andes, and it also affect the normal development of our weather.
Nonetheless, something that is very marked in our country and in some cities here in the Andes is that we only have 2 main seasons during the year:
Dry Season: We consider the dry season from the end of April until the end of September, in this period the first rains will start. For this reason, this is the best time to visit our region and our amazing Machu Picchu and also avoid any inconveniences.
Rainy Season: This season starts on October until the end of April approximately, so during this time it is advised to all of our visitors to pack their belongings into waterproof bags, as in our region it can be sunny the first 2 hours and then have a heavy rain.
We know that there are extreme climates worldwide, but this must not stop us from our longing and desire to explore the world, to discover marvelous cultures and interact with them. Be welcomed to Perú and Machu Picchu.

Embark on an early-morning adventure from Cusco at 4:30 am, as we pick you up from your hotel. With an expert mountain guide and comfortable transport, we journey to Cusipata district for a buffet breakfast. An additional hour's drive takes us to the trailhead for Rainbow Mountain. Prepare with sunscreen, water, trekking gear, and a positive attitude. Our guide offers insights before we start our trek, featuring a mix of uphill climbs and flat stretches. Marvel at Rainbow Mountain and Ausangate mountain views. An extra hike to the Red Valley is optional. After the exploration, return to the trailhead and descend by bus for lunch. 5.00Kenko Adventures was a fundamental part of our recent trip to Peru. Our guide Elvis personally briefed us on day one, and over the course of five straight days of tours, we visited some incredible sites, including the Rainbow Mountain and the challenging but rewarding two day Inca Trail trek. Honestly it feels like Elvis was born to be a guide, he not only took care of all the logistics of our tours and our needs during them, he also shared with us his massive knowledge of Incan history, plus info about the local culture and nature. He is an amazing photographer too! Our driver was David, and he skill behind the wheel was equally important. He kept us safe and comfortable on every drive, even on the crazy mountain roads. No matter how early the start or how long the day, Elvis and David maintained their energy, professionalism and genuine care for our tours. This trip wouldn't have been the same without Kenko Adventures!

5.00Our tour guide for Rainbow Mountain was Miguel who was an incredible guide. He was acomodating, kind, knowledgable, and helped us get through it safely and comfortablely through the high altitude. He made it a really enjoyable experience for our group. Would 100% recommend for anyone!

5.00Few days ago we went to see Rainbow Mountain, and we hired wonderful guy, Elvis from Kenko company. It was a private group with 5 people which I enjoyed a lot because he took care of us very well. He was very smart and we learned a lot from him. I forgot my jacket which was in his backpack and he brought it back to my hotel the next day, which was very nice of him. I highly recommend Elvis for your next trip, you will not be disappointed. 5.00Elvis was our guide and we were glad we choose Kenko. First, he met us the night before to give us a briefing about what to expect and what we needed to bring . Glad he did. We didn’t have hats and had not thought about bringing gloves and hats. We went out to buy some that evening and was glad we had them as the wind picks up at the top. Elvis has good English and Knowledge. The hike goes up to 15,000 ft elevation. He took care us all the way making sure we stopped when we looked like we needed a break, asking us how we were feeling to check if we felt light headed or had a headache . Although we didn’t use the options did give the choice of renting a horse. Elvis took good care of us and our safety very serious and also had oxygen of we needed it. It was long and difficult day. We are very glad we climbed Rainbow Mountain and went with Kenko tours. If we were staying longer I would have booked him for other tours.
