• Incredible Experience

  I was connected to Valentin and Kenny through my retreat organizer. They supported us on several day trips and had been incredibly welcoming and inclusive to the entire group. In addition to their kindness, they were a wealth of knowledge! I was not expecting to feel so connected to the Sacred Valley and the local people. During our day trip to Rainbow Mountain, Valentin and Kenny picked us up at 4:00am with pillows and blankets. Before our trek, they treated us to coffee, juice and sandwiches and snacks. We were amongst the first few cars in the parking lot, just in time to share the summit with a smaller crowd. As we hiked up and down, Kenny was patient and respectful of our pace, never rushing us in the high elevation. This is a spectacular mountain and I was delighted to be able to ask questions about the surrounding peaks and geology. I hope to be able to return to Peru and work with this team again. They far exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them to anyone.

• The ONLY way to see Rainbow Mountain is with Valentin!!

  We had a perfect end to our time in Perú by hopping in the car and getting to Rainbow Mountain before everyone else, enjoying a perfect walk up a well-maintained trail before the sun got too high, and feeling relaxed up top before the crowds arrived. Must do!!

  What can I say here? Rainbow mountain was the last stop in my plan. This is a very easy hike. And the views are impeccable once your reach the top. Honestly the views are great all the time during the hike. Valentine guided me and explained the nature and how the colors are formed. He explains, in great detail, significance of rainbow mountain with respect to the culture. Honestly I wouldn’t pick any other tour guide than him, he’s very experienced and understand your comfort level. According to which he will make sure you take the appropriate trail without comprising the views.

  Valentin's Journeys put together an amazing tour! The experience was personalized (we had to catch a flight at 7pm so our tour guide, Fernando, was accommodating enough to start our day at 3am so we wouldn't have to rush our experience.) Being some of the first people on the Mountain right after sunrise was a really cool experience. This company is extremely organized, and Valentin was super communicative and reachable at all times via WhatsApp. Also, Fernando is the best!!!! The natural beauty of the mountain was incredible. Highly, highly recommend this tour.

  We had to stand up quiet early for the rainbow mountain tour, but it was totally worth it! While sitting in the bus, our team leader told us many interesting stories and facts about the beautiful mountain. Also he pushed us as the mountain is quite high and it would not always be easy to climb it. He was right, it was quite hard but we weren’t in a hurry and could take every time we needed. When we were finally at the top, our team leader was really proud of us and we were so happy to be able to share this trip with him. Thanks for this wonderful experience!
