In this cooking class, you will actually knead the ramen with your own hands. The soup is also made starting from boiling the chicken bones. Ramen has become a world-famous Japanese dish. In this hands-on cooking class, we will make ramen noodle and soup from scratch. We offer 2 options for a side dish. Sushi option (9:30-12:30) and Gyoza option (13:30-16:30). Our sushi option is unique in that we make Osaka style sushi "oshizushi" - pressed sushi, with beef and vegetables as ingredients. Gyoza is another Japanese dish that has rapidly gained popularity in recent years. At a ramen shop, ordering ramen and gyoza as a set is a staple in Japan. *Please leave a note upon booking for vegetarian option / pescatarian option / no-fish option. *Gluten-free option is not available.

I really enjoyed this class, what particularly stands out about this class is that you do make one of the broths from scratch. Other ramen classes have everything premade and you just make the noodles and toss everything in. Here, you get to make everything yourself (to some degree), including chopping the ingredients yourself, making the noodles from scratch, and the gyoza by hand. Of course, some things are premade in advance for the sake of time (like having the chicken pre-cooked). However everything important is done by you. I highly recommend this class if you want to make ramen at home, or at the very least gyoza (which is much faster and easier)

10 out of 10!! Absolutely recommend this class to anyone. The whole thing was extremely well organized, efficient, and well-equipped. The instructors were super friendly, informative and attentive. We did so many things that the three hours flew by and everything was ready in time for us to eat and enjoy the fruits of our labour!

Excellent cooking class- best we have done in Japan. Very efficient and teaching experience. You can also purchase some supplies at the end like garlic grater or cooking chopsticks so can be a nice souvenir. Please was easy to find- Marina and Kasa were so nice!!!! We were a group of 3 plus 4 more participants so a total of 7 but we did not feel rushed and food was delicious! Try not to eat lunch before!

We had a great time. My husband and 12 yo who don’t normally cook, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The chefs were wonderful and very accommodating with my son’s food allergies so he didn’t have to miss out. Would highly recommend this experience, very intimate and fun! We certainly my left with our bellies full!

This was so much fun! Our instructors were kind and efficient and helped us understand customs, and rational for why we needed to do things a specific way. We appreciated their clear guidance and had a lot of fun! Although we aren't a fan of fish, the ramen base fish/chicken was good and our gyozas turned out just like the restaurants!
