Rangelands Station is private property that we have special access to. Here we drive up onto a jump up (mesa) and get to walk through the spectacular rocky chasms (rifts) that have been naturally eroded. We then head to our sunset lookout to relax with the beautiful sunset views.

We provide nibbles and one glass of wine at sunset. If you would like more wine than this or drink something different then please BYO.

Tour start/finish times depend on sunset times during the year.

Winton

Visit Rangelands Station (north of Winton) where erosion has created narrow channels (rifts) through the rock. We walk through these rocky chasms before heading to our sunset lookout to relax with a glass of wint and sunset nibblies.

We just got back from the Rangland Rifts and Sunset Tour with Red Dirt Tours in Winton, and wow, what an experience! Our guide, Vicki, was incredible! She was super friendly and really knew her stuff about the area. The views were absolutely stunning, especially when the sun was setting. The colours in the sky were like nothing we've ever seen before! If you're in Winton, you have to check out this tour. We can’t recommend it enough! Thanks for an unforgettable adventure, Vicki!

This tour is a must do when visiting Winton.We have spent time in Winton before and have done most of the tours .Vicki gave us a great commentary as we made our way there.The walk through the rifts was amazing and then nibbles and drinks were set up as we prepared to watch the most beautiful Sunset over the plains below.

This tour is well worth the money, We had commentary from the driver, Vicki, all the way and some more when she answered questions. She was obviously well rehearsed in the area we needed to go to. The riffs were something else. It was easy to navigate if you have a good ability to traverse rocks and heights etc. Sunset was amazing as we had chairs, a glass of wine and a platter of nibbles as we watched the day end. An absolute winner.

Visited Rangeland for the Sunset tour during the Winton 150 year Celebrations Yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the Experience with Vikki , very informative and Knowledgeable Vehicle are well presented and Professionally Driven, Scrumptious Cheese platter and Beverages were well accompanied with a Spectacular Sunset over a thriving Landscape Highly Recommended

Jo was a great guide. The ranges were interesting; the views spectacular and the sunset incredible. A ‘must do’ if you’re in Winton

Really interesting and picturesque. Lovely walk around the rock formations, saw some bats, followed by snack & wine (included in price) on the escarpment to watch the sunset. Wasn't far out of Winton (10mins). I'd recommend

WOW. What an incredible place walking through the rifts and the guide giving great commentary explaining it all. The sunset spot with stools, fantastic layout of nibbles and drinks. Pure magic. A must do on your visit to Winton.

The ladies that took us on our magical tour through Rangelands was amazing. Very knowledgeable on the area and the surrounds. I was worried about being with an older group that I’d miss out on exploring the rocks. Vicki encouraged me to go off and explore places that the others could not. It made my trip and I would highly recommend seeing all the sights that they have to offer.
