Enjoy a 90-min guided tour and tutored whisky tasting at one of Scotland's most spectacular and significant working whisky distilleries. Located in Falkirk, close to Edinburgh and Glasgow and easily to reach by train. Originally founded in 1840, the Distillery has been meticulously restored and offers a world-class visitor experience. This is the reawakening of one of Scotland’s most highly regarded silent distilleries. Your experience begins with immersive storytelling, as the tales of this historic distillery are projected around you onto the original warehouse walls. From there, a guided tour through the beautiful new distillery, where you’ll discover each step of our unique whisky-making process. You'll visit our stunning glass-fronted still house with its three enormous copper pot stills, before visiting the warehouse where precious casks of whisky lie. Your experience will conclude in our luxurious tasting room with a tutored tasting of two award-winning single malt whiskies and a sample of New Make Spirit. The drams served are Glengoyne 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt, and Tamdhu 12 Year Old Speyside Single Malt.

Excellent tour at Rosebank, a mixture of old and new heritage, had the 33 year old plus 18 year old Glengoyne and Tamdhu with chocolate. Very informative and comprehensive tour, excellent gift shop. Highly recommend. Shame the adjacent canal had no water, hopefully that will be remedied soon.

The Rosebank Reawakening tour was excellent. Our tour guide Ivan was engaging and very informative about the history of Rosebank and the distillation process. The whiskey tasting at the end of the tour featured whiskey from Gkengoyne and Tamdhu distilleries. I would thoroughly recommend the tour.

What a very surprising tour this was. The building the modern distillery, the story they tell…it is all very different to all other distilleries and we visited 14 this holiday. Guide was great and the modern building and set up of the building is amazing. Also the spirit is promising if you would ask me. So will be looking for it end of this decennium

Great first visit to a Scottish distillery

We visited on 7th of May 2026. We were a group of 5, 4 of us had flown from Italy and this was their very first time visiting a distillery in Scotland. As soon as we arrived on the visitor centre, the staff was very welcoming. We very introduced to our tour guide Victor who delivered an excellent tour. It was only us during the time in the group so it felt very personal and exclusive. Victor guided us through the history and different parts of the production. He was very informative and always happy to answer our questions. We discovered a lot of insteresting and quirky things regarding Rosebank. The final tasting was excellent, Victor guided us through the different whiskies, helped us to identify notes and flavours. One of us was celebrating their birthday, so he got a little extra dram for the occassion. We also purchased an extra dram of 1989 whisky that was incredibly tasting. Thanks Victor and thanks to all the staff at Rosebank for making our visit an unforgettable experience.

This was a great tour. The building is stunning and so different to other distilleries. Of course, Rosebank hasn't been in operation long enough for you to sample their whisky but the two tastings were perfectly fine. Interesting to see the original mill from before it was mothballed.
