This audio tour takes you on 3.5 km walk around the highlights of the town. It takes just over an hour without stopping but you can pause the tour whenever you choose.

St Andrews Cathedral
St Andrews still attracts visitors from far and wide but they no longer come for religious relics. Now they come to worship at the home of golf. In the cathedral we can see these two aspects brought together.
St Andrews Castle
St Andrew's Castle looks over a little shoreline called Castle Sands and borders the North Sea. The Castle housed well off clerics while St Andrews served as the religious focal point of Scotland amid the years prior to the Protestant Reformation. The best enduring carved pieces from the castle are shown in the visitor centre, which also has a shop.

1.00I only had a limited time in St Andrews and as my timing did not match the times of a conventional tour I opted for this. I downloaded the tour on to the app but it would not start. As well as the disappointment of it not working, I wasted around 40 minutes getting to the starting point and adjusting settings instead of enjoying my limited time there.

5.00Excellent tour filled with a personal touch. Our guide Sam was wonderful, answering all of our questions and curiosities of the area. He have great insight and historical info. The food pairings were delicious, even the haggis! Would highly recommend this tour.
