5.00This tour was amazing! The tour guide was great I learned so much. This was my favorite activity that I did while I was in China I would definitely recommend!
Both museum spots are AMAZING and are very elevated with historian guide

5.00Lily was the best tour guide ever. She was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and everything she told me about Chinese history stuck with me. She is very very good at teaching. I have a very strong passion for Chinese political history and the like and I learned so much here. You absolutely will not regret this tour. I recommend you do morning tour instead of afternoon tour though because museum locations close at 17:00. Also do the tour as soon as you can because Lily informed me that the upkeep of the Shanghai Propaganda Poster Museum is very expensive for the proprietor and one day it might close down and this tour will be delisted.

5.00I highly recommend this tour to learn about the modern history of China. Especially for visitors from the US or western countries, I really appreciated to see the Chinese point of view. Our tour guide was very kind and went out of her way to ensure everything went well. We were given plenty of time in the museums and she answered all our questions. I could not have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend!

5.00I always wanted to learn a bit more about the history of the CCP; instead, I got to learn a LOT! Penny takes you for a ride in history, with such detailed explanations it's almost like you actually lived through the thing. And if that's not enough, she also knows a lot about the city: other places to see, where to eat, how to best enjoy Shanghai as a whole! Honestly, the best guide with one of the best tours on the topic I've ever had. 100% guaranteed an excellent time.

5.00Amazing tour with penny! We learned a lot and experienced things we wouldn't have been able to find ourselves. She even helped us find a lunch place afterwards. She is clearly an expert on Chinese history. It was really fun!

5.00The national congress site and museum were great to see, and Penny was a very informative tour guide. The poster museum was a big highlight for me. It had many amazing posters from different eras with historical info, as well as a shop with posters to buy, books, and other cool takeaways. Highly recommend.

5.00A highly informative tour. Penny is lovely, very knowledgeable about the subject and spoke excellent English. It was great to be able to overlay the story from the museums with the personal account of a local. Penny met me at my hotel and arranged all the taxis and museum entrances. Well worth it!
