This small group excursion takes you on a tour of the lagoon onboard fast and comfortable boats, equipped with sun canopy for an enjoyable sun protection while cruising from one to another snorkelling spot (8 passengers maximum). During this unique experience, you will discover pristine marine areas of the lagoon led by our qualified and passionate guides. Depending on the weather and wildlife behaviour on the day, you will visit between 3-4 spots: First thing in the morning, you'll head to the Manta Rays feeding ground to spot these underwater angels, before cruising to discover two renowned local coral gardens. If the conditions allow, you'll also spend time looking for the Eagle Rays. Your guide will jump in the water with you to point out the different species and help out where required people who are not comfortable swimmers. For people who have never snorkelled or are not confident swimmers, we recommend our private tours for a more personable experience during which the guide will be able to focus all his attention on you. 5.00I couldn’t have asked for a better tour and guide! Fabien was amazing and knew exactly where the best spots were. We started off swimming with manta ray, then sharks, eagle rays and the coral garden with the most amazing coral and fish. The trip was finished with a Motu beach picnic. Fish and sting rays swam around our feet while we had the best meal ever! My only concern is I won’t be able to wow my kids anymore after this! Thank you Fabien!!!

5.00Excellent tour. Our guide Noe was so informative and helpful. We learned a lot from Noe. We saw plenty of colorful fish, coral, and the highlight: a huge manta ray which followed us for several minutes. You won’t be disappointed if you take this tour.
Great tour for the price because they delivered what they advertised.

5.00Our guide did a great job both handling the boat and assisting our small group in getting their gear on. They go to 3 dive sites and they delivered what we came to see. Manta rays, Spotted eagle rays and more coral than we have ever seen. It was a great trip and having a small group really made it the best. We will definitely use them again next time we come to Bora Bora

3.00Our first excursion of trip. Picked up and resort by nice speed boat, with 6 other guests. Our guide Mana was fantastic.... We loved that we got to snorkel with Manta rays and the swimming through the coral gardens was beautiful....however this tour seemed more corporate, stopping at sights with a number of other boats already in area competing for the views...traveled around entire island...soft drinks were provided.
Well worth it for the 1/2 day on and in the water

5.00We had great success in spotting Manta and Eagle rays during our trip. Snorkel gear was in good condition and it was easy to get back into the boat from the water via ladder. Our guide stopped periodically to point out island landmarks, features and historical points switching easily between English and French to accommodate all 8 guests on board. We did have to walk about 0.75 miles for our pick up and drop off; this was no problem in the morning, but in the heat and sun of high noon we definitely could have benefitted from a drop off closer to our accommodations.
Captain Fabien was a must for this experience

5.00We spent the morning on Fabien's boat and it was the best ever boat excursion experience of our life. The boat itself was a 12 people -boat, with plenty of space for 8 people and Fabien. We had great time snorkeling with manta rays, sharks and drifting in the reef. At each stop Fabien accompanied us and gave us detailed and pro information. When it was time at noon to leave the boat, we were all super excited and 😁. Thank you Fabien for your professionalism and kindness. You managed a group in 3 languages with attention to every need and patience

5.00For a perfect, private half-day snorkeling experience, just book it with Reef Discovery and ask for Ume and Mana. They will take care of the rest. And the rest, is just extraordinary. Do not give up if the spot seems to be sold out. Call to verify availability. We did it and were able to book on our desired date and time.

5.00We had an amazing experience! Noe, our guide, was extremely helpful - The other two groups spoke French, but he made sure to translate all the instructions clearly in English and point things out to us in English as well. The group size was five people, so it felt very personal and special. We got to see Mantas, which was a main reason for booking this tour, as well as eagle rays! We also swam through an incredible coral garden with hundreds of fish. Our guide pointed out fish we totally would have missed, including a puffer fish that became a highlight for me! This was a huge standout for us during our trip and I would highly recommend for those looking to see rays especially.
