The white salty surface is highly reflective and when it floods during the wet season (From December to May) the thin layer of water creates a mirror reflection of the night sky above. You can see the sky reflected at your feet. It’s like floating in open space!

Salar de Uyuni

At 0300 AM we will pick you up from the hotel. We will leave early in the morning towards the Salt Flats of Uyuni. We will reach to the centre of the Salt Flats and witness the beauty of the massive Salar De Uyuni. Here, you will be able to see the milky way as there is no light or air pollution. We will then wait to see the sun rising over the Salt Flats. The sky it is painted in bright colors, and the imminent sunrise is announced, which arrives to warm us, because at that height of 3650 meters the morning is quite cold. The sun's rays illuminate the sea of salt to give it an almost lunar atmosphere. A unique landscape in the world !!! Our services ends at 08:00 am
