You will meet your new cute reindeers friends, feed & talk to them, you will experience a little reindeer sled ride and then sit in a traditional kota by the fire drinking a hot drink and listening to the herder stories about the local sami lifestyle and about the reindeers.

This activity gives you the opportunity to get "up close and personal" with the reindeer. How can you get up close? Reindeer rides offer a unique, eco-friendly way to explore at a gentle pace. This is a magical experience. They’re ideal for both adults and children as the slow speed means you can really appreciate your surroundings, Lappish nature too. Alternatively, visiting local farm and herder is on one of our favorite things in this tour. And finally Sitting around the fire on a warm base of reindeer skins is a magical experience and the perfect setting to learn more about reindeers from your guide, while your coffee is served next to the fire.

Deceived and disappointed

1.00We are a family of 5 and hired the reindeer tour. We were entered into the reindeer area and then put in a cabin where we were given cookies and blueberry juice. Being there my wife asks the guide when the sled is going to be done and that is when we find out it will not be done, tremendous disappointment especially for the children. The same guide tells us that we will get the corresponding refund but then reminded by whtasapp we are told that there is no refund as we have been longer on the farm instead as if one thing compensates for the other. We express our dissent, but we get no further response. Do not rely on this tour operator if for a handful of euros they are able to act in this way...

2.00We hired the big reindeer ride, we had a car, so we were on our own and we met there. When we arrived we consulted the people of the farm because we had the contracted tour in Spanish and they could not tell us anything else we expected. After 10 minutes the tour started it was very crowded and no one spoke in Spanish the guides all in English. So we stayed we did the reindeer ride and we left, we couldn't stay to the final talk in the tent because it was all in English our boy didn't understand anything so it wasn't worth it. Zero interest on the part of the company, although I wrote it well we were coming back from that ride.

5.00My niece and I had a wonderful experience visiting a reindeer farm and going on a reindeer sleigh ride on 20 December with Wonderlapland, made truly special by our guide Elena. It was very well organised and Elena was very professional, attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire activity. Her warm approach really added to the experience. Visiting the reindeer farm was fascinating, and feeding the reindeer was a definite highlight for both my niece and me. The sleigh ride itself was very relaxing and enjoyable. We also loved learning all about reindeer, and having hot juice and cookies in a lovely kota. We had a great time from start to finish. We highly recommend Wonderlapland and would happily do this experience again—especially with Elena as a guide! Thank you Elena!

5.00Reindeer Farm was a hit with kids and adults alike. We were picked up at our hotel at the designated time and driven to the farm where we were able to see a large herd of reindeer at feeding time as well as get up close and personal with a few. Everyone was then given the opportunity to take a sleigh ride. There was a frozen lake right next to the sleigh rides were everyone had a great time playing in the snow and taking photos while they waited for their turn. After the sleigh rides, we were taken to sit by a camp fire to have a hot beverage and hear history and information about the reindeer of Finland. Perfect Rovaniemi experience!

4.00They came to pick us up to the Santa Claus Village. The guide was really nice and she was all the time taking care of the two families that were part of the activity. It was important because we were not the only group in the farm. Additionally she shared with us really good information about reindeers and also the surroundings that was a plus.

5.00This experience was so much fun! The tour guide was accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful. He voluntarily took lots of pictures of me which I really appreciated as a solo traveler. I enjoyed seeing all the reindeer, the sleigh ride, learning about the reindeer, and the cozy fire and snacks. I enjoyed this so much. 10/10 recommend! Kittos!

4.00The visit to the farm is interesting. The beautiful farm, in a beautiful place next to a frozen lake. The interesting explanations are made in English but our guide translates if necessary. Afterwards there is a short sleigh ride, I personally was left wanting more, if what you are looking for is a brief experience this excursion is great, if you want more sledding better the long one, which is surely just as good but with a longer ride long since if not, this one falls short. Thank Alex our guide for his good work. He caught us one day when we were close to -25ºC and we were going with a five-year-old girl who was not very comfortable, he was constantly worried about her being okay, getting blankets or whatever was necessary. Thanks Alex.
