Let gentle reindeer carry you through snowy forests and open fields, wrapped in warm blankets. After the peaceful sleigh ride, warm up in a cozy farmhouse with local snacks and hot drinks while hearing stories about Sámi culture, reindeer traditions, and life in the Arctic today.

Duration includes the transfer and clothes changing time. Thermal overalls, winter boots, winter glovesand woolen socks are provided.

Failure to participate in the safari due to missed meeting time or meeting point will not be refunded.

Operated in Rovaniemi each year from end of November to beginning of April next year (weather permitting). The minimum number of participants for each activity is 2 adults. Single traveller could join an existing group, or choose to pay for 2 adults' price.

Usually two adults share reindeer sled, maximum 2 adults and 2 children will sit in one sled (except special circumstances), final arrangement made by farmers. It will take around 1 hour to sit in the sleigh in winter conditions, please wearing enough warm clothes.

This journey begins at a local reindeer farm right on the outskirts of the city of Rovaniemi, but deep enough to be entrenched in the forest. Meet many reindeers including the cute little ones and have many opportunities for fantastic pictures. Experience the old-school way to travel by sled in the Arctic Circle and imagine what it must feel like for Santa to be pulled by reindeers. A safe trail will be followed which has been built and maintained by the reindeer herders themselves. You as the riding guests will be laid down in the sleigh and covered by warm blankets. Enjoy the Arctic Lapland’s beautiful scenery by reindeer sledding. Afterwards, be welcomed to the farmer’s house for snacks and warm drinks understanding why most Northern men have full facial hair just like good ol’ Mr. Santa Claus!

I loved my trip with Mari, she is a wonderful entertaning tour guide! The farm was a nice location we could feed the animals, if yoi wanna pet ask for Manu deer!

We visited the reindeer farm today with our family (2 adults, 2 kids), and it was an amazing experience! Paula, our driver and guide, was absolutely wonderful – attentive, caring, and professional throughout the visit. She made sure that even during a simple but heartwarming activity like feeding and petting the animals, our family could truly enjoy the moments together. A huge thank you to Paula and the whole organizing team for making this such a memorable and well-coordinated experience. Highly recommended!

The tour was really fantastic. We took part in the nice reindeer safari trip. We have got so many intresting information about the reindeers. We could sledge one round with nice reindeers. Our guide Allesandro informed us well about the course of the tour. The technical infirmity of the bus on the way to the reindeer farm was also solved quickly and confidently. Thank you for this very relaxed and freedom of information tour

everything was well organized. Pick-up at our house (in the center of Rovaniemi) at the correct time. Nice people who welcomed us. Beautiful nature-experience. And afterwards a lot of explanation about the reindeers. This was both a great experience and very informative too. Our son, who is physically disabled joined the trip. This was not a problem at all.

No fun, no client orientation Due to unexpeted CoronaTravel restrictions we had to postpone our trip and kindly ask for a refund or rebooking possibility. Also a finnish friend called then on our behalf. Only hard business interest or rather ripping off people in an unfavorable situation was the outcome. Avoid sunny Safari!

This was too touristy. Maybe the tour guide had arranged it well, but for us as tourists it was not clear what we would do when. In the description it was described that we would also learn to throw lasso. None of this came back during the tour, as far as this was a tour.

Picked up on time, brought to a beautiful reindeer farm, we chose the long ride, it was chilly as your not moving whilst being pulled on sleigh so pack hand warmers!! Then taken to a log fire hut, given hot juice and biscuits and ride home. It was stunning! Well worth a visit!
