Walk along the narrow streets of the Medieval Old Town with our knowledgeable guides. The tour starts from the Town Hall Square- the central square of the city from 13th to 19th century. You will find out why Riga is called the capital of the decorated Christmas tree, where the key of Riga is being kept and much more.

We were looking for a smaller group walking tour and this one was perfect. Turned out to be only 3 of us, guided by Gunta, who was excellent. She took time to explain the history and and provided the color and experience that only a native could. Riga is a beautiful city with a picturesque old town. Sure you could walk around and see the sites … but you only get the background and insights from a guide like Gunta. Thanks for a great tour!

Very informative guide and route took in all the best sites. Even went in to some museums and a church. Would just note in the info on meeting location to say " look for yellow umbrella" for ease of location. Thank you.

Very detailed content from a very knowledgeable guide. Even in temperatures of -9 degrees, she kept our party engaged for almost 2 hours.

Very Informative tour and well paced. We were the only people on the tour as it was so cold. We learned a lot over the 90 minutes and came away with a lot of useful successions. We worth it!

Great guide, offered personal experiences and great perspectives and stories. The weather was very cold and she did a nice job of making stops along the way to warm us up!

Fabulous tour with a knowledgeable guide. She packed in so much information in the 1.5hrs, I learnt so much about the old town, the buildings, the changes over the years, the stories associated with the statues & the old town wall too.

The guide never came, neither were we ever informed about cancellation. Its a pity, wasted our precious time.

Brilliant walking tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the history behind Riga’s most significant buildings really well. The hidden gems she showed us were a lovely bonus too. Highly recommend.

We were a small group of 4 people. The tour felt very rushed as we were walking in the walking stride. No time to take a picture. Sometimes something less is more! For my taste, the guide was too masterful ("did you pay attention?") and quite dry in her remarks.
