5.00Anna: Knowledgable Wasted no time but was comfortable and patient with us Covered the highlights Anna was a fantastic tour guide. She is extremely knowledgeable, no nonsense, and a gifted story teller. She was able to provide context and helped us draw connections we would never have understood without her expert guidance. The Rijksmuseum is amazing but very overwhelming (especially to first time visitors) and Anna made sure we got a great overview and that we understood how and why the masters are the masters. If we were to do this tour again, the only thing we’d do differently would be to allow more time to go back through and spend more time in the museum after our tour!

5.00This museum is such a wonderful experience! Our guide Paola was fantastic. She explained the history and cultural events that influenced the artifacts and paintings. She led us through all the levels in relation to historical ages. We visited during February so the museum was less crowded.

5.00The Rijksmuseum is a vast collection and a guided visit is the best way to go. Our guide, Victoria, did an excellent job of highlighting the significant pieces of the collection. We had a particular interest in one artist and she was able to accommodate us with an in-depth review of his work. If you are in Amsterdam for a short period, this is the best way to enjoy the museum.
