"The Rioja region is one of the most specials in the whole country due to its climate and terrain, suitable for wine production since Roman times. Today vineyards and wineries can be found in any corner, creating a unique atmosphere that should not be missed.
In this activity you will be able to visit two different wineries, small and medium in size, to find out the contrasts between the different forms of wine production. We will also visit the medieval town of Laguardia, where time seems to have stopped, to contemplate a panoramic view of the entire region.
You don't need to be a wine expert to enjoy this activity! You just need the desire to enjoy an unforgettable day in an incredible atmosphere."

Tour to two wineries in La Rioja. These were small wineries and the experience was marvelous. The tour guide (Adur) was magnificent. Lunch was excellent. I highly recommend this tour.

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our Guide, Asier, was welcoming, knowledgable and considerate of everyone’s needs. There were surprises along the way and the choice of vineyards made for a unique experience. The generosity of our hosts was anove and beyond.

The tour is exactly as advertised. In our case it was a very small group, just the two of us and the guide, Adur. Pick up was a few minutes before the scheduled 8:30AM appointment. We drove in a nice and very clean van and our guide was both very knowledgeable about the area, but intelligent and very interesting to talk to. The first tasting was at about 10 AM at Luis Canas. They are a medium sized producer with some excellent wines which we tasted along the winery tour. I’ve been on many winery tours, so generally not excited to see the facilities or cave again, but they actually made the tour interesting and we met some of the workers finishing up some late harvest work which was new. I actually learned quite a bit. Our guide through the winery and tasting, Anna, was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and seemed to know just about anything about the vineyard and wine that you could ask. She was amazing. Our second stop, Tritum, is a smaller, boutique producer with a very interesting facility (caves 30 m below street level and a modern tasting room on the ground and upper floor). I have forgotten the name of the young woman who gave us the tour on property, but she was great. After the tastings, we stopped for a casual lunch at what I would call a pinxtos place for some small plates and cheesecake. Then it was a drive back to our hotel in Bilbao.

Our driver,Adur, was an excellent guide. Timing was excellent as well, as one vineyard we visited was still harvesting and we got to see all the activity. Several individuals on the tour were comedians at heart and we enjoyed many entertaining moments.

My sister and I had the best day with our guide Eduardo and the rest of our group of 8. Eduardo was so professional, warm, knowledgeable and very punctual. He really made it a fun day and was so kind to give us other recommendations for later in our trip! We toured two wineries with tastings and then had lunch at a restaurant with food and wine included. Both wineries were great but Tritium was definitely the highlight of the day and we truly fell more in love with wine from Rioja. It was about a 1.5 hour drive from Bilbao to the vineyards with comfortable seating and water in the van. Highly highly recommend doing this tour, worth every penny!

Excellent experience, highly reccommend. Our guide Edwardo was very informative and the tours and tastings at the two wineries were very in depth. Depending upon the wineries visited there may be steep and uneven steps down into a very old cave. Late lunch was welcome and a delicious sampling of regional dishes.

Great experience because we had a charismatic, knowledgeable and understandable tour guide driver. Learned more about the Basque region than just wines. Asier was great

We saw Rascal winery in ad but we did not go there. The driver was good and the Luis Canos winery was excellent.
