Spend an afternoon on the water during this Bermuda catamaran and snorkeling cruise. The catamaran will raise her sails and cruise throughout the Great Sound, before anchoring at a beautiful and secluded swim site. Once at anchor, you have the freedom to choose to swim up to the nearby beach or sand bar, kayak, try a SUP (paddle board) or kick around with the crew's snorkel gear on the nearby reef. One rum cocktail is included, and additional drinks can be purchased from the onboard bar.

Rising Son Cruises

Your Bermuda sailing adventure leaves from King’s Wharf in the parish of Sandys, on Bermuda’s northwest tip. After boarding your catamaran — the Rising Son II — set sail into the Great Sound. Sail for about an hour as you head toward a secluded swimming spot; during your time on the boat, just relax and enjoy the views. Lounge on one of the trampolines, soak up the sun on the upper deck or enjoy the shade in the cockpit. When you reach the swimming site, the crew will throw the anchor overboard and give you a quick safety briefing and snorkeling instructions. Then put on your provided mask, fins and snorkel and jump into the water! Snorkel above the nearby reef, checking out the local marine life, or if you prefer not to snorkel, you can use the boat’s kayaks and stand-up paddleboards to explore the bay, nearby beach and sandbar. You have 1.5 hours of playtime here, after which you’ll climb back on the catamaran for a refreshing ‘rum swizzle’ cocktail. During the cruise back to the wharf, get ready for another evening in paradise with additional drinks from the onboard bar (own expense). Tropical music on board will put you in the island spirit!

We’ve done many catamaran/snorkeling excursions on many different islands over the years and this one was far and away the best one. Laid back, good music, but not so loud you walk away with a headache, and enough rum swizzles to make your head spin. The Bermudian waters are exceptional. Spent well over an hour snorkeling and and saw tons of fish, swam back to the boat then jumped aboard a paddle-board for some more fun. Our cruise even featured Mister Westley (the captains French Bulldog) who made friends with everyone. Highly recommend!

This was such a fun experience for our whole family! The crew was so knowledgeable about the history of the island and really got to know everyone on board and they made everyone comfortable. Run swizzles were given out and refilled. We got to snorkel, paddle board, swim, and jump off the top of the boat, and my daughter got to steer the boat! Would highly recommend this to others!

I’ve known Captain Steve for many years and always go back to the Rising Son when I go back to Bermuda. What I like about their Captain and crew is that you can customize your own trip based on what you want to do. All these losers that give him one star probably have zero direction on what they wanted to get out of it. We had 24 of our closest friends and told him what we wanted to do and he and the boys nailed it!! We will definitely be going back to see the Captain Squid next time we go to Bermy!

Captain Steve and the crew made sure that we had a good time! Swimming, cliff jumping, dancing, we got a lot in. Ask about their Rum Swizzle recipe 🤯

Had a wonderful time. This young crew made safety its priority. The history of Bermuda was fascinating to hear from these young locals. They made sure we were all safe and enjoying the experience. I would definitely recommend to families with young children that enjoy the water.

Staff was funny and personable. Paid attention well to guests and comfort levels. Would recommend again if you want a calm but fun snorkeling experience! Good for littles too!
