  Wow, what a great experience, lots of fun, great guides, very knowledgeable and explained lots about the area, and the village way of life... Delicious lunch, amazing swim under the waterfall, and tubing over the rapids was a blast, shout out to Patrick, and the rest of the team, will be coming back next time we're in Fiji

• River Tubing - A Must Do!

  My friends and I booked the river tubing activity due to the abundance of positive reviews and true they were! It was the highlight of our 10 trip and I can say I'd definitely do it again. The staff were the kindest most hospitable people from the minute we were picked to the minute we were dropped off. Our day started with the pick up from the Coral Coast, about a 1.5 hour drive to Navua. Then we were warmly welcomed, the schedule explained to us and we were kitted up with life jackets and ponchos. We were taken on a super fun boat ride down the river, which was about 17kms if I remember correctly. Then we were dropped off to the village tour. We had a good look around, chatted with some of the villagers and told about some of the history. After this, we were back on the boats and off to a massive, beautiful waterfall for a swim. Lunch was served, which was so delicious I had to go back for thirds haha. Then, we were kitted up again and ready to tube down the river. This part was such a blast, we went down rapids and relaxed. The staff truly made this experience amazing and I would highly recommend. Oh and they take some pretty awesome photos which you can purchase at the end of the day!

  Highlight of our trip. Amazing scenery but even better guides. Ensured all the kids were safe. I was worried my fussy kids wouldnt eat lunch but they all loved the food.

  Our Team from TRANSAM Fiji had our Team bonding at Navua river tubing! They offered a bonding experience that our team will cherish for years. We loved the long boat ride, waterfalls, sights, scenery, lunch, river tubing was the highlight of the day and the singing was the Cherry on the cake👏👏 Much appreciation to all our tour guides and boat Captains they were incredible!! Thank you River Tubing Team for the amazing experience and heaps of fun💚💚

  We planned this trip very last minute and it turned out to be an amazing experience! When they picked us up they didn’t have enough space so they had to send another bus for us. But, in a way we lucked out. Normally the groups are 35-40 people but since we arrived late we got a private tour for the village. ( to explain, on the boat you are with your family in the village everyone would gather for a big presentation) We then prepared life jackets and loaded into the boat. On the way the riverside view was absolutely stunning. First we took a small boat to a local village. There they gave a pleasant and authentic village tour! We got to try cava and use a local herb treatment. Next, we went to a beautiful waterfall. However, it was a little crowded and not very swimmable. Then they took us to a little campsite beside the river where we docked for lunch. They served delectable food including chicken drumsticks, seasoned noodles, traditional Fijian food and more. The tour guides sang a beautiful song as we ate. When everyone finished the tour guides gave us a debrief of tubing safety. We got prepared to go tubing! As a family of four they connected us with our own personal guide who had accompanied us from the start. My kids were 13 and 15 and had a blast! We saw younger kids there that enjoyed it too. Our tour guide ( Ben) made the river tubing 100 times more fun! After a while we hopped back on the boat to the dock. Unfortunately, there was a transportation issue and just our family had to wait 20-30 minutes for the bus to come and bring us back to our hotel. Overall, incredible experience with top notch care from the amazing tour guides like Ben but a few issues with transportation to and from our hotel.

  Value for money. Easy to find from anywhere to book. All activity are safe, under supervision, environmental friendly. Lot's of fun, full of adventure.

  We went as a family and we all had the best time! Despite the big rain the night before which resulted in the water being brown, we still enjoyed every bit of it. The waterfalls was breathtaking from mini ones to the huge ones. The rivertubing team were fabulous from beginning to the very end of the activity. They were thorough with instructions and ensured everyone was safe throughout the whole trip. The lunch prepared was amazing, varieties to choose from and had vegetarian dish too.   The reviews on this site are excellent, but the experience was even better than others have described! This (whole) family run enterprise is well organised, and we were made to feel really looked after from start to finish. The tubing was the highlight including the beautiful singing, food was excellent and we enjoyed seeing the village, the longboat ride up 17km of river and the swimming in the waterfall. Lunch also unhurried and delightful. We did this as a shore excursion from a cruise and the transfers to and from were also done well, and provided good information about the trip and Fiji generally. The photographs of the day we were offered at the end were numerous and good quality at a great price!
