5.00I highly recommend this excursion and ROA. We had a fantastic experience at the animal sanctuary as well as the drift snorkel. I will certainly plan an excursion with ROA again if I ever get the chance to visit Roatan in the future. Be prepared for your excursion to last longer than 3 hours. You are on island time.

5.00Our cruise ship spent the last 2 days in Roatan so I had the opportunity to do a total of 3 snorkel trips with Roatan Ocean Adventures. I've been using them for my Roatan tours for 9 years now. I'm always so happy with their tours and their staff! From the moment they pick you up at the port to the moment they drop you back off, everything is top notch. Their snorkel guides care deeply about their guests and the reefs which is very different from many snorkel companies. Today's tour included a visit to the Monkey and Sloth sanctuary which is also a wonderful place! Roatan Ocean Adventures offers many types of tours both on land and on water. I will always use them and recommend that you use them too! They believe in quality over quantity and making memories through their adventures.

5.00They were all amazing. Best stop on our cruise. Michael is extremely helpful and speaks fluent English and Spanish (we requested a Spanish tour) he even stopped at the gas station to get some baleadas because I desperately needed some. The snorkel guide named all of the fish for me since I was so curious. The monkeys jumped on my head which was a dream come true. This is a no brainer.

5.00Roatan Ocean Adventures ROA, is family-owned and customer focused. My first visit was with my son, my most recent was a solo tour, and I will bring my husband in the spring. I have met ROA from both cruise ports in Roatan, and they are easy to find in either one. Just walk to the taxis and look right beyond the cabs for someone with an ROA sign. Each visit, my guide drove us to our selected destinations in a comfortable, well air-conditioned car. We were seamlessly transitioned to specialized guides at each destination, then driven to the next stop. We were consistently offered refreshment or alternative activities at every step. The Monkey & Sloth Sanctuary was fantastic! New regulations ban holding sloths, for good sloth reasons but the photo ops are great. We were delighted to find the sloths are not captive. The monkeys and parrots are also lovely. The snorkeling on Roatan with ROA was great. The guides are attentive and helpful. They were experienced, able to adapt the swim for different skill levels with ease, watchful for unique species, overall terrific. Also, the launch area for the snorkeling boat featured several sleepy cats and a sweet dog. Overall, 11/10. I have just booked them for the third time. Great for most groups. I especially recommend them for folks who want to try an outside tour but are nervous. They know all the ships’ schedules for each day. They will have you back with time to spare, even if you lose track of time. Easier, less waiting, better activity choices, no worries, I can’t recommend them enough.

5.00We were picked up directly from Norma's Cruise Ship Terminal. She spoke super English and we were the only ones on the tour. The sloth and monkey station was really great and the rescued animals really had a lot of space and were very charming. Afterwards we went snorkeling, again we were the only two in contrast to the trips planned via the ship, which was really great. We saw rays, small squid and lots of colorful flocks. In addition, the corals are truly unique. As a highlight at the end there was also a shipwreck to see. All in all a great tour and highly recommended.

5.00Ana and the boat guys were so awesome! Thank you so much, it was an awesome snorkel experience and the animal were fantastic. The monkeys were funny and the sloths were sweet.
The snorkeling was spectacular! The sloths, monkeys and bird sanctuary was a delight. Super nice people at every turn. Great day

5.00We took a 7 day Royal Caribbean Cruise last week and booked the Monkey & Sloth Snorkel Adventure and it did not disappoint! We had 5 in our party, 4 adults & 1 child. We were picked up on time and taken to the Monkey/Sloth park first. This was amazing! We only had us and 4 other people in our group, which was smaller than the other excursions in other ports and we loved it. We then went to see the Iguanas and then snorkeling at the reef. We watched boats around us overloaded with tourists, while the ROA people broke our party into 2 different groups to make it more enjoyable! Absolutely fabulous snorkeling guides and we loved the reef and seeing the shipwreck! We will definitely use ROA for our next trip to Honduras! Use them! You won't regret it! ~Rebecca
