  Loved having a private driver. The walk was easy in the morning to find the driver. At the end of the tour, we were dropped off back at the front.

  This was a wonderful time! From the driver to seeing sloths and having monkeys monkeying around you. So many laughs to be had. The snorkelling was absolutely stunning.

  Such a great experience for our family. Our guide, Jenny, was so knowledgeable and helpful as she showed us around the island. We loved the monkey/sloth sanctuary and snorkeling. I definitely recommend for anyone coming to Roatan!

  We had an incredible experience with ROA! We were picked up right outside of the cruise port by Norma, our lovely driver. She was so kind and informative. It was so nice to be going off and doing our own thing with just our family of 6 rather than following the masses in line for the cruise-booked excursions. We went to the sloth, monkey and parrot sanctuary first. It was a big hit. Then we went to the iguana sanctuary and had a personal guide there. He was great and super informative. He and my husband and son fed the tarpons. Norma stayed with us the whole time. She then took us to the snorkeling place where we had a private boat with a driver and guide. It was probably the best experience of the whole cruise. The guys were great. So helpful and kind. Everyone that we talked to had lived there their whole life and were so welcoming to us. Norma took us to Roatan Yacht Club for lunch and where we had beautiful views from the balcony. Expectations were exceeded and we hope to return one day! Do not be scared to book your own excursion. Read reviews. I was glad to put money directly into the hands of locals. We were back to the cruise port with plenty of time to spare.

  Great experience. Very friendly family business that offered us in addition to the two excursions, to stop dining in a yacht club and after we offered to stop at the chocolate factory. Without pressure it was as if we had a private driver. We felt safe and secure.

  Awesome experience! Our driver was personable and professional. The sloth sanctuary as so fun! The staff were amazing with the kids and everyone’s safety! We loved the monkeys! The snorkeling was amazing! Our boat driver and our tour guide were so accommodating with all the children and so knowledgeable. Such a great experience overall!

  This was my second excursion with ROA and I cannot reccomend them more! Great experience and wonderful people! The Sloth and Monkey Sanctuary are a must. It is a short outing and I just love it. Then the snorkeling is amazing. ROA takes you in small groups and takes you to better spots than the outfits with a massive numebr of people!

  We were surprised that an older couple in their 70s joined the group with difficulty getting into the van from the cruise ship. However, the guides help them through the visit to the sloths/monkeys and then to get in the boat, into the water, out of the boat and back into the van. At first, I didn't think it was wise for an older couple to come on a snorkeling trip. Afterwards, I was really happy they were able to have that experience, because the snorkeling was great!

  This is an excursion you don't want to miss. From Mahogany Bay Cruise Port, you walk a steep hill ( taxi available). We were brought to a van, there was only one other couple, then takem to the monkey/sloth sanctuary. It was great, we had monkeys on our heads, laps, they were so friendly. You're right next to quite a few sloths, great photo opportunities. Then it is off to snorkel. Again, only 4 people for excursion. Small boat, crewmen provided assistance for my wife to board the boat. Not only that, they helpef her into and out off the water. The guide that lead the snorkrling tour had her hold onto a ring and towed her through the entire time. The water was crystal clear, so many different types amd colors of fish, the reef was beautiful. We were in the water for at least 45 minutes, probably an hour. A great snorkel tour. This was the highlight of our cruise. Absolutely the best. You will have a blast, do this one!
