Robben Island Museum

Visit this internationally recognized island which has now been turned into a World Heritage Site. The most popular attraction is the former prison of Nelson Mandela. Visit his prison museum and take long lasting memory photos. Take a walking tour of the island which takes you to the Quarry. The lepers' graveyard is also a must visit. There is a penguin colony where you can see the penguins in their natural habitat. Boulders Beach Penguin Colony

Visit this attractive penguin colony via the wooden board walk at Stony Point beach. Get up close to the penguins and take amazing photos. Look out for the Dassie a famous and well nourished rock rabbit. Take a walk along the fence and explore the living conditions of the adorable birds. Time permitting you can also visit the boulders beach section of the colony. Here you are allowed to enjoy a not common activity - swimming with the penguins. Learn the history of the penguins as to how they ended up being here and when they where discovered.
