Challenge yourself in the great outdoors and experience climbing the weathered walls of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Get up close and personal and climb to the top of the 20 metre cliffs where you can take in Brisbane’s best views of the city and river! Climbs of various levels of difficulty are available to suit everyone – including beginners!

Complimentary showers and sunscreen are available for your use

Lockers are available for hire (AU$3 per locker)

Participants must be 8 years of age or older to participate . For night activities, participants must be 12 years of age or older. Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult to assist them in belaying. If no adult is present, the child will not be permitted to rock climb

Looking for some real adventure that doesn't look like the walls of an indoor rock climbing centre? Challenge yourself in the great outdoors and experience climbing the real rock of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Climbs of various levels of difficulty are available to suit everyone including beginners. What to expect: Riverlife rock climbing sessions are guided by qualified and experienced instructors. No experience is necessary as each session includes instruction, a safety briefing (where you will learn how to rock climb) and equipment. Participants must wear and use the safety equipment provided by Riverlife. Safety equipment includes a helmet, harness, and rope. Booking essential. Complimentary showers, lockers and sunscreen are available for your use.

My friend and I took our daughters for the twilight rock climbing during the school holiday. Our girls are 12 and 13, and they absolutely loved it. The instructor was very friendly and patient. We would love to try other activities next time!

My son 14 and I both enjoyed this very much. It was our first time rock-climbing and the staff, Melissa and Daniel were very helpful and supportive every step. We felt safe and encouraged. Kangaroo Point cliffs is a great natural spot and we enjoyed the walk along them, and climbing them to the top. It was a great experience for our confidence, and trust. We had a complimentary hot chocolate and chai latte at the end. We met some lovely people doing it and would go again for sure. I booked through Groupon.

My kids had the most amazing rock climbing experience with Riverlife. There were various routes of ascending grades and so suitable for my daughter and son who are experienced rock climbers and for those who have never tried rock climbing before. The Riverlife team were so welcoming, friendly, professional and most importantly so passionate about their sport and what they do. They really wanted everyone to succeed and have a great experience and this really shone through. I would highly recommend Riverlife.

This was such an awesome experience! Our tour guide Daniel was lovely and helped us heaps during the tour - he also went the extra mile and let us climb for an hour longer so that we could try all the routes. Would highly recommend for the avid adventurer, but does seem to require a good level of fitness/endurance.

First time ever trying to do something like this and it was great fun and a great challenge. Our instructor Georgia was absolutely delightful, super friendly and very helpful and encouraging. We would absolutely do it again.

We did the abseiling and it was thrilling. Lukka was an amazing guide. He coached us when we were nervous and let us have fun when we got the hang of it (pardon the pun). Easily accessible from the amazing city ferry. Highly recommended!

What a cool experience! You need to check in at the Riverland kiosk, it's a short brisk walk from the free parking lot. As soon as we were briefed and harnessed up, we were on the way to climb! Let me just say, this was a challenge! For anyone who loves rock climbing they should definitely do it, it's so rewarding when you reach the top! They teach you how to hold your partners weight too and you repel them down. I loved it, I am in shape, and I was sweating at the end!

We did the rock climbing at Kangaroo Point and had a great time. We had a really fun guide that made us feel very safe. The climbing itself was cool and suitable for different skill levels. Highly recommend!

It was a fun experience, we all were able to climb few times. Out instructor was amazing. Overall I’m so happy and I definitely recommend. I hope they would rent a climbing shoes….

This was such an awesome experience!
