Departure and Pick-Up:
Elite Adventures tours depart from Rotorua at 8:00 AM. Pick-up times are scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM, depending on your accommodation. For exact pick-up times, please refer to the additional information provided.
Tour Highlights:
1. Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland:
- Our journey begins with a visit to Wai-O-Tapu, one of the world's most surreal geothermal locations. You will be guided through a collection of stunning and colourful geothermal features, including the Champagne Pool and the Devil's Bath.
2. Lady Knox Geyser:
- Following Wai-O-Tapu, we will proceed to the Lady Knox Geyser, which erupts once daily with remarkable punctuality.
3. Waimangu Volcanic Valley:
- Our tour concludes with a visit to Waimangu Volcanic Valley, the youngest geothermal ecosystem in the world.

4.0The programme is good, though a bit disappointing that the only geyser we saw was activated by soap. The guide Clive was very knowledgeable but not too engaging, so it was a bit difficult to stay focused.

5.0Our guide was knowedgeable, responsive to each person’s needs and questions and shared his love of this island and its history. We especially appreciated getting away from downtown Rotorua and seeing the broad sparse of geothermal activity. He never rushed us but was attentive to the time so we made required connections. Book this experience!

5.0What a wonderful experience, from being picked up at hotel promptly by our superb guide Clint and trainee Jason we had an amazing time. Clint was so informative and relaxed as he took us to mud pits bubbling away, the Lady knox geyser, inferno crater, champagne lake and so much more. The scenery was spectacular, the steam rolling of the lakes and mountains sides was incredible. A not to be missed experience of a lifetime. Thank you Clint and Jason you made our New Zealand trip extra special with your care and vast knowledge. Highly recommended.

5.0The tour guide Linda was very informative and had a lot of patience with a lady who was very difficult and need a lot of information repeated plus then decided she was gluten intolerant and could not eat a lot of salad ingredients Beside this the tour was excellent
