This tour is great to get an understanding of the history and an overview of what the island has to offer. We used it as an introduction then followed up on a subsequent day to ride around the island taking time to soak in the beauty.

Our guide Kevin and his wife, the train driver were both informative and helpful. Knowledgeable Kevin brought us safe around the island. Sara at Oliver Hill was excellent guide, also extremely knowledgeable. Only downside was the overcrowded train ride. Additional tickets had been sold to people who didn’t do the grand tour. Lunch GF was super!

Great way to see Rottnest in a day. Barney was our guide and he was welcoming and fun. The coach was comfortable and clean and we got to see the bulk of the Island in comfort, back at jetty in time for our departing ferry. Excellent value for money and a great way to spend the day. And then there’s the Quokkas……

Firstly Pinnacle tours are a very professional company. This tour was great - pickup from our perth hotel. Great ferry trip then a walk to the train. Everything was organised well. Train was cute. Then bus to Oliver Hill. Very interesting and the tunnels were a highlight. The volunteers were fabulous… The rest of the tour around the island was informative and pleasant. Theres some fabulous beaches there. Ending at the Township with the shops and cafes and of course all the Quokkas. Cute little things, luckily we’ve seen quite a few on the bus trip. The driver seem to know where they like to be and he would stop and let us have a look.. it was fun watching the sea planes come in and out, unfortunately when we got home there was news that a plane had crashed with loss of life.. very sad indeed

Travelled on the ferry with Rottnest Express with an 8.45am depart, 5pm return. We had an hour to relax and walk to the Settlement Railway, where we began our Australian Pinnacles Bus Tour part of our day. The 11.30 am bumpy-fun train ride took us to Oliver Hill, where we toured the gun battery. We walked to the bus and were given lunch - (chicken wrap, oat biscuit, and bottled water, which unfortunately, had not been chilled). We ate as we began our Quokka Coaches' trip, with Kevin sharing his knowledge and passion for the Island. We got off the bus at a few places for photo opportunities and "comfort stops". I'm glad we took the later ferry back as it gave us more time to get up close and personal with the "domesticated" quokkas. It is very important not to feed them or touch them.

Grand Tour on the bus was great and not riding endlessly which could have taken all day. No train was a disappointment , but the tour guide humour was admirable.

Our first time to Rottnest, so wanted an easy & comfortable trip. We got both. Tour guides were very knowledgeable & the content was great. We got to see a lot & cam away very pleased with our choice. The only point we’d raise was in respect of the meeting point, which was billed as “Rottnest Train Station”, but is in fact a small covered seating area signed “Settlement” so we weren’t sure we were in the right place.

All was mostly good except when they said on our tickets , the ticket box closes an hour earlier before the boat leaves. We got there at 645am ready for the 8 am departure but no one there, they didn't arrive and open until 720 am what a pain in the butt waiting around, they need to amend their tickets to their opening times this really sucks. You also couldn't get coffee until around 715 am so we could have stayed home an extra hour
