Experience the magic of Rottnest Island by luxury sailing catamaran! Sail the island’s stunning coastline and dive

into an underwater paradise, full snorkel gear included.

Departing Thomson Bay, enjoy a leisurely sail to a secluded bay, cool down and hold on to our huge cargo net as we drag you through the water on route. Anchored at the island’s top snorkel spots, find over 120 different species of tropical fish, you won’t see along the metropolitan coastline. Look out for dolphins and the rare Australian sea lions! Kayaks and SUP boards also available for your use.

Enjoy a seasonal fruit platter as we sail you back to the jetty in time for the afternoon ferries.

Tour is suitable for ages 4 and up. Snorkellers must be aged 8 and over and be of moderate swimming ability (able to swim unaided for at least 200m)

Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness

Change of date permitted once without penalty, provided 7 days notice is given.

Late arrival or failure to board for any reason = 100% ticket loss. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to begin boarding.

Participants must be able to swim competently (minimum 200m without assistance) to participate in water activities

Expectant guests who are 28-36 weeks pregnant will require medical clearance to board. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate anyone over 36 weeks gestation.

I'm so glad I signed up for this adventure with my friend! It was both a relaxing sail and an adventure. We loved being able to sit at the front of the catamaran on the hammock and the guided snorkel tour was a nice touch. We enjoyed relaxing with tea and coffee after the snorkeling. The crew was friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the option to hang onto a net and be dragged by the boat towards the end! One of the best moments of the sail was seeing dolphins and an Australian sea lion.

This was a fantastic activity that was even better than expected. They were quite accommodating by running the tour even though we were below the normal minimum number of participants. The boat is very comfortable with lots of amenities. We cruised to an island where sea lions bask on the beach and snorkeled around a coral reef just off the island, seeing many different fish and ocean vegetation. Our guide during the snorkeling was great, and they were prepared for many levels of capability. After snorkeling we had a delicious snack of fresh fruits and non-alcoholic beverages. Then we were able to swim off the boat as desired and various water toys were available for use. A relaxing sail took us back toward the meeting point but we were given the opportunity to ride on the "tow net" which was fun. We then anchored for a while for more swimming and jumping/diving off the side of the boat. Too soon our time was up and we went back to port. I left a valuable onboard, and the company/crew were very responsive and accommodating in making arrangements for me to retrieve the towel. Thank you for a great trip!

The snorkelling was fantastic with beautiful coral and fish to see. The crew were also friendly. Make sure to bring a long sleeve rashie if you’re swimming on a colder day!

Could not resist getting in the water from the boat! A small cruise to a handy snorkel location. Friendly staff. Good fins and mask supplied. 30 minutes roaming the ocean. Fruit and cuppa back on board. Then get on the drag net for the trip back.

It was a fantastic experience! Swimming with sea lions was incredible! The short sailing trip allowed us to visit the island too, and the crew was super friendly.

Fantastic day out with a great crew. We were taken to the most beautiful location to snorkel. Weather allowed for sailing with the kids even able to help bring in the sail. So much fun !!

Fantastic. A must do experience. Equipment was great. Snorkelling was amazing and Jules/Anuska were very welcoming. The sailing at the end was perfect way to finish.

Cracking afternoon out on the water with the super friendly crew of Charter 1. Kids were invited to join in on raising/lowering the sails, as well as joining Captain Jules as he steered us home. Guided snorkelling was aaahmazing and a highlight of our family holiday. 8yo was easily able to keep up on the guided tour and loved the experience (frothing to go again). Plenty of marine life to view - an abundance of fish, sea lions, cheeky stingray, coral galore. Cargo net on the way back to the jetty capped off a perfect day. Would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks so much for having us!
