Meet your guide at the pick-up point and change into warm winter clothing before heading into the snowy wilderness. At the husky farm, you'll meet your dog team and receive driving instructions. Then set off on a 6–10 km husky safari through silent forests—two guests per sled, with a chance to switch drivers halfway. During the ride, there's a short stop for photos. After the safari, spend time with the dogs and then step inside a warm kota by the fire to enjoy hot drinks, grill sausages, taste festive Christmas cookies, and share stories with your guide while the dogs rest outside.

We booked directly through their website and had great time from beginning to end: a friendly tour guide, exciting ride, plenty of time to interact with huskies, and nice drinks and snacks by the fire. The huskies were energetic, full of life. The ride itself was exciting and a lot of fun. The scenery along the way was beautiful. The drinks and snacks made the experience more enjoyable.

5.00Amazing trip outside Rovaniemi. Mika piked us up at Santa Clause village. After a ride of about 45 minutes we came to the husky camp. Everything was well prepared. The huskies were happy to run the trail. The instructions are easy to follow. After running (about 1 hour) was time to hug the dogs and get explanations about to handle huskies. We got a small barbecue and saw cute husky puppies. After that we were brought back to Rovaniemi. Thanks for this experience.

5.00The ride was awesome and our guide was also very helpful. I only wish I knew ahead of time the sled allows for both an adult and my 6 year old to ride at the same time, as I thought my wife and I would have to drive separates sleds. Slightly tricky to find the pickup location without a photo, but our guide and other travelers were patiently waiting for us for a few minutes.

5.00Super nice tour. The huskies are amazing and friendly and they want to play. There were puppies too. So cute. The slide ride is awsome with breathtaking panoramic view and the dogs love to run.

5.00Our guide Mika was wonderful - on time, super friendly and told us insightful information about Lapland. The tour had the right amount of people. The husky sleigh experience was magical. I thoroughly enjoyed the bbq at the end too.

5.00This husky safari was an amazing experience from beginning to end! Our guide, Mika, was fantastic—he arrived right on time for pickup and made sure we were perfectly prepared by providing warm winter overalls. The ride itself was incredible and the highlight of our trip. One of the best parts was getting plenty of time after the sledding to hug and pet the huskies; they are so friendly and well-cared for. We ended the day around a cozy BBQ with hot drinks, marshmallows, and cookies before Mika dropped us back off. Truly a seamless and unforgettable day. Highly recommend Mika if you're looking for an authentic Arctic adventure!

5.00We had a wonderful time with Mika and the team in Lapland. Mika provided lots of local information on the drive out to the husky farm. We even saw a huge elk as we got closer to the farm. Before the ride we were given large onesy suits to go over our own winter clothes, plus winter boots and large outer gloves to go over our mittens. This extra layers kept us warm on the cold day of our adventure, which was -30 degrees. But we were very warm with all the layers. Then it was time to meet the husky dogs and receive instructions on how to control the sled. Half way through our ride, the team stopped to take photos and video of us and the dogs on our own phones. After which, we swapped over drivers to continue the ride. The ride was magical, along a quiet trail, surrounded by snow and trees. It was calm and serene as a passenger, and thrilling and exciting when driving the dogs. After the ride, we had sasuages on the open fire BBQ, some glogi, tea and coffee, and toasting of marshmallows for the kids. All in all, a unique experience we will not forget.
